I was very inspired by Leave a Whisper's jackets and patches thread, and I figured that I might share some of my own work on jackets and patches. As an artistic, nerdy high schooler who was very obsessed with music, I produced a wide variety of jackets and vests based on album covers and covered in patches. I still make them occasionally, but I wanted to share some of my work here for fun.
This was my first vest that I got my sophomore year of high school, and have repainted like 20 times depending on the music I liked at the time:
Here is my Radiohead jacket from my sophomore year of college:
Here is a jacket I made in January of this year, based on Myrtle Beach where the majority of my family is from, complete with rhinestones on the front as well:
And a bonus jacket, which isn't painted, but is covered in 6 years worth of pins and patches. Some of the highlights include the pony patches, the flying spaghetti monster, klezmer buttons and my mom's former sorority's button. I might do a full pony jacket one day, who knows!
