I'm so happy you posted these. Unloading everything from the storage boxes was so much fun, and the vynil smell was just amazing! *sighs* So many ponies.

Staying up all night though, when I was home I was soo tired I started hearing sounds that wern't there. LOL.

lyricalstar the pony "risers" are nothing more than collectible card boxes! They come in a variety of lengths.....so it works for people who have shelves that might be smaller in width! My only "complaint" is that they are white.....lol.....one day I will invest in clear, but for now this works :D

Peppermint Crunch and Diamond Dreams are from my childhood.....can you believe I took them swimming with me!? LOL

And some of the G3 shelf (which needs glass shelves, and doors and everything else that I will buy over time.....hahaha....I need to buy another shelf for them too! Most of the G3's are also in rubbermaids with the rest of my MOC collection :( )

I hope to put aside some money to finish the room soon...
and besides, when its reading week, I plan to kidnap FantasticFirefly for a few days.....so perhaps we'll work on my MOC wall then *evil grin*

Holy, wow! *grins* What a beautiful bunch! I love MIB flutter Morning Glory and MIB Merry go Round ponies. Oh wow, I love all your pics! Look at those pretty sea ponies! Amazing collection!
 
All I can say is that is a fantastic collection. It's been so long since I've seen all of my ponies on shelves that I'd forgotten how fantastic they can look when displayed right (needless to say mine never have been). I'm practically green with envy It was also nice seeing the merry go round game (or whatever it was called) my friend had that one and she never let me play it, more because she'd run out of ink than anything else. But thank you so much for showing them, they look beautiful.

I wish those Billy set-ups weren't so expensive, I'd love them for myself lol.
 
Does anyone know the cost of one of those shelves with all the extra things on it?

At full price, here's ã rough bakdown...billy shelf $115each door $65shelves I think were $10-15 each, or they are sold in ã bunch..then you have potlights & the height extension....by the time you add taxes its at least $350-400 +i'm sad i did't have the space years ago to buy more fom VSS before she moved. i got them as is for $200 ã unit!! *Twinks*

Wow, i knew they would be high but i didnt think they would be that high in price? However if it is the last thing you will ever buy for the ponys to sit on then it is worth it in the long run.

Wow, I go to Ikea all the time and always thought those bookcases would be totally wrong for MLP. Good to see they do work well. Gives me something to aim for.

Your collection is truely amazing.
 
WOW Twinks!!! Your pony room looks amazing and you have so many ponies, I didn't realize you had so many!!! I would so love to come and see it in person and you too of course =) I thought you had the sparkle ponies on card? And that baby Twinkler is just adorable!
 
You guys did SUCH a great job getting everything organized. We're going to be going to IKEA to get some black shelves for my husband's office...I'll look around and see what else they have. My office already has five or six book shelves full of ponies, so perhaps I can find something else I can use.

That is seriously the most incredible pony room I've ever seen -- and those cabinets, oh my word!!! Those are insanely nice! I wish I had the space for organizing my ponies/toy collection like that...you are so blessed to have that! Thank you for sharing and inspiring the rest of us! :):img67:

BAJ: Actually, I have like, 1/3 of my collection not even on display yet.....and that includes about 70 something MOC ponies (such as my beloved sparkles....) but yeah.....I have to hang hooks on the wall above the couch for all the carded stuff ^^

Actually, I plan to run shelves along the top of the room (where the couch sits) to fit even MORE stuff....

And I would LOVE it if you came out to visit!! I could host a meet here, but I don't have tons of room for people to crash or set up stuff.....hahaha...I'd have to pack all my stuff away! :p
But yeah! Come out!! We can have a mini meet with FantasticFirefly ;)

She wants to hold "memory lane slumber parties" for women in my pony room.....she freaked the first time she saw it, and her friend did too.

I should post pictures of what my collection used to look like....hahahaha....I am proud of what I have accomplished in terms of collecting, it truely is a labour of love! :img38:

Your collection is ...ok I don't have a word for it but I actually held my breath for a little there. It's so amazing. I could spend an hour just looking at your pictures. I've always wanted nice shelves but can't afford them right now.
Great great great collection you have there.
