My Thrift Store Finds~! :)

Hi!

So, today I went on my normal routine of going to the thrift stores where I live, and I found some ponies! There is usually ALWAYS ponies at the thrift store, but this is my first time ever that I actively seeked them out! I left quite a few ponies behind (they were G3) But knowing them, they will most likely be there next week. Bear with me, I don't know any of these ponies names XD

This one I think has to be in the best condition out of all of them!

Her cutie mark is almost completely gone! Maybe I should make a custom out of her?

This pony is flipping HUGE. What year is she? She's got sporting some dreadlocks and has scuffs on her body. Little lever under her head makes her blink/move her ears/tail. However, it must be faulty, because she can only "wink" XD And her tail doesn't move very well.

This one is wierd. (Or at least to me) Is she missing something? She just has this big gaping hole in her and also has some "highlighter" on her face. I really wish I knew my ponies better...

This one looks to be possibly a bootleg pony? She takes batteries, so I think she makes sound (and I think the jewel on her head lights up) She just kind of came with the others, so maybe I will do a trade with her (or whoever wants her can just pay shipping)

Poor little baby. You got some tail rust! Never thought I would run into it so early on in my collecting XD Her hair is also reaaallllyy dried out. Future custom perhaps?

This one is also in pretty good condition body wise. She does have some marker on her underbelly, but it looks easily removable.

And last, we have a so soft pony! They really are soft haha.

I am not 100% sure if I am going to keep them ALL at the moment, I am kind of picky when it comes to ponies I really wanted to try my hand at restoring them, before I send them off to new homes~

ERMAGERD YOU GOT A RARE MY PRETTY PONY!!!! ( it's the really big one) oh, and the one with the saddle and needs batteries.... she's a fakie... and the one with the gaping hole in her back, she needs a saddle... But some people turn them into flower pots! You so lucky.....

@ilikebothg1andg4ponies Yeah I figured it was a Pretty Pony haha. Are they really hard to find? I can't seem to find it on ebay (Found one though, was with the box for $202) And yup, I know she's a fake XD I will probably take some sculpey clay and fill it in/smooth it out an make her into a custom~

Oooh, lovely finds! The Glow'n'Show pony is Happy Glow, by the way, not Bright Glow.

I reckon you could rehair the Baby Lickety Split - there's something about all the Lickety Splits I've got hold of where their hair goes super horrible and dry... poor ponies! You might be able to re-glitter Parasol's symbols too. ^__^

Unfortunately, while My Pretty Pony is cool, she doesn't sell for much. In the completed sales, the price ranged from less than $9 for the pony w/her box to about $20.

In that condition not high, unfortunately :/.. I have seen some sell 20$ with a box.. it is hard to find pony but not so high on demand, I think. The second edition, pink pony, is more pricey.

Price range goes to about 8$-20$

@hanamadoi I will be making Parasol and the Baby into customs~ It doesn't show in the pics on Parasol, but on the other side, her cutie mark is completely gone so someone tried to redraw them with a highlighter XD So bad!

Awww D: That's sad that she really doesn't sell XD But she's cool anyway! I am hoping to fix her hair~


I also got some more ponies today! ^0^ The two Twinkle Eyes I actually bought off a member on here! The G3.5 I should have left at the thrift store, since I don't collect that generation, but they were cheap XD After I fix their hair a bit, I will offer them for trades~
