Need some advice with repairs/identifying types of damage

two fixed so far

This is my progress so far- forgot to take before pics of these two (I only did that for the ones that were worst off)
The boy was filthy and smelled awful, but he's in very good shape now which I am pleased about.
The little yellow summerwing still has a couple of dots of mould but I am working on it, i just have to be careful not to damage her paintwork/wings.

Some of my collection is still missing, my mother assures me it was not thrown away during the recovery she's just not sure where it all is right now since stuff got kinda shoved hap-hazardly as it was pulled out of the wreckage.
But the fact that these two are looking so nice is promising.

I would never have been able to tell steamer spent months outside, you did a great job on him!

They look amazing now! I can't wait to see the other!

I was pleased (and surprised) those two came out so nice. Working on cherries jubilee at the moment she has some stubborn pindot mould on her leg, but is otherwise shaping up okay.
Poor Majesty did not fare so well though, her tail rust was very severe I am trying to get it off now . Her markings got a bit worn in the process (her whole flank was really mouldy/rusty) don't think she'll ever be good as new but I can live with a few stains and paint scratches. Got to figure out if I should try and get a new tail for her. Reading various tutorials about it now.

Anyone got any tips about the scented ponies? Cocoa berry still has some of her scent, wondering how to get her clean without losing it.

K two works in progress, here's cherries jubilee. She's still got some annoying tiny spots of mould on her leg and ear, but she was really awful when I first got her back so not bad so far.
Can anyone tell which version she is? I've lived all over the place growing up so I am not sure where she came form.
Flower bouquet is coming along slowly, she's looking far better than she was to start but she's got a lot of little spots and stains (maybe pony cancer hard to tell)

Hard to tell, but she looks like the euro NSS version because of her darker colouring. Same pony was released with the flocking in the US line. :)

her hair is a sort of salmon pink if that helps. I did live in the US and europe growing up so she could have come from anywhere.

so some of the ponies are coming along pretty nicely all things considered, however Majesty is in rather a sad state alas.
Her markings got damaged while getting the rust spots off, there is a small split where her tail goes in. She's got a number of spots and stains and I think I may have to replace her tail altogether. I found some tutorials so if I can't get it sorted I guess I will give it a try.
So here comes the question bit, does anyone know what colour her tail is and where to get a close match from a doll repair place?
Thanks so much for any tips!
