Unfortunately I can't link to the pony in question however there is a Baby Playful part of the nursery babies set boxed up for sale on UK eBay. I'd had a feeling I'd once upon a time seen the Nesthaeken babies in a UK brochure as a child but I can only find my German ones now.

All the same we now have English names for the set, even if they are a bit twee to my mind.
Baby Bubbles = Baby Blubberchen
Baby Playful = Baby Wurfelchen
Baby Bye byes (I'm assuming from the idea of beddy byes).=Baby Schlummerlein

I just wish my eyes were good enough to read the story on the back of the box.Think Baby Playful is playing with her blocks and Baby Bubbles has lost her duck while Baby Bye byes tells the pair of them to be quiet as she's trying to take a nap but the last part has my eyes straining a little too much.

Think we might have to do a reassessment of where these three girls were released in Europe!

Edit: Now that the auction has ended: MY LITTLE PONY NURSERY BABIES SET WITH BABY PLYAFUL - UNUSED | eBay

Wow, that is so cool! The Nestie Babies are some of my favorite babies so I'm glad to know their English names, too.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm not sure this one came in a just english version. I have this pamphlet which has both languages on it. Is this the one you were thinking of?

Nope not that one, that's one of the ones I've managed to re-find. ;)

I assume they're in one of the 1993 versions of the pamphlet, as the families (although being the main characters drawn on the front) aren't advertised inside and the correct colour scheme for the Kitchen is shown. Unfortunately the only version of that I can find in my possession is the Spanish version. >.< which isn't particularly helpful in correctly remembering what was available in the UK.

However I do think that there was a fully English pamphlet available in those final years and I'm pretty sure I have it stashed somewhere.

I really need to go on a proper hunt throughout the house (and the garage and shed *twitches* -Mum "tidied" when I went to Uni. and a lot of stuff ended up out there) to see what I can find. Thankfully all but one pony has re-emerged and re-entered my bedroom, the accessories/pamphlets however are proving much more elusive. I also have all of the later comics stashed somewhere but I'm pretty sure they're in the attic which is a shame since they might've shed some light on the situation considering the number of adverts that used to appear within their pages.

At least the auction ends tomorrow so I'll be able to give a link to the Baby in question.

Interesting! It sure makes them easier to name with English names. I never have learned how to say their German names correctly. :p

I only learnt how to say them last year after living in Germany and being frequently corrected on my pronunciation. XD And now all of it's spoiled since they've finally revealed their English names. XD

Took a while, but here should be the pictures of one Baby Playful mint in box. Well done to whomever bought her she looks gorgeous.

Ah but considering this is the only one(?) to be found in UK packaging does that make her rarer than Ladybird? :p ;) I am speaking tongue in cheek when writing this however.
