A week or so ago I was ordering something from toywiz when I found this: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Collectors Album 2 Pre-Order ships June

There's no picture yet but if you scroll down and read the product description it says it's made by enter-play/ultra-pro and describes the item as "Stunning casebound collector's album. This 3-ring notebook binder also includes an exclusive 6-card foil puzzle set and card checklist."

The ship date is set for June so it looks like another binder is coming :winkpony:

I ordered mine before asking EQD if they had heard about it. They hadn't, and are looking into it so if you want to order yours first nows the time. Just wanted to share it here before EQD posts it.

You can always submit news to Derpy Hooves News, The Daily Oat or The Round Stable, too :p

Ultra PRO is the company that makes all those card sleeves that come in packs of ~100 for Yu-Gi-Oh! and MTG and whatnot, and they announced recently that they were going to start working with Enterplay to make FiM-branded stuff, so this must be an example of this. (Card sleeves don't make too much sense for the FiM cards).

I could, but I'm kinda hoping someone else will do that heh..(I was actually waiting for the same for EQD but it just didn't happen ^^; )

I thought the same thing about the sleeves...although I must admit, the sleeves looked quite cute heh. I wouldn't use 'em for my card game decks though (why can't they partner up with pokemon nowadays...lol).
I'm excited to see how this binder comes out though! I've always loved ultra-pro since my pokemon tcg days ^^

I'll post about this now on DHN and my site (I was super sick when I saw you put up this post). EqD likes to just clump merch into compilation posts. They also tend to report on photomanip images or stolen custom images from dA as if they were real merch.

I don't have enough cards to invest in a binder, really; I have them all in a tin right now. I have maybe 8 packs worth of cards. And I think the only playable card game that's popular right now is Magic: The Gathering. Hasbro is making SO much money off of that IP. And pretty much all of my friends are playing it, too.

I think Ultra PRO had Pokemon licensed sleeves in the '90s? I recall the licensed deck boxes.

Enterplay and Ultra-Pro have already been working together to produce the deck boxes and binders. Last year's binder contained a page of Ultra-Pro sleeves ;)

They're flawed, I know but I mainly prefer them since they get all the exclusive info the others don't get until after EQD posts it. Like merch discounts and exclusive emails from staff at DHX & hasbro every now and then.
(Side note: I hope you are feeling better)

I wouldn't get a binder unless your obssesed with cards like me and need them all..^^; (Personally, I'm so happy they're making a new one as mine is becoming a bit overloaded since I also keep blind bag cards in it as well as cards that resolved the second print issues. I am truely a trading card junkie lol).
MTG is the most popular but Yu-Gi-Oh is, for some reason, closing in on being most popular once more. It's popularity somehow skyrocketed in the last few years..(funny, since during my tcg days in 1999-2001, then 2004-2006 Pokemon was still chugging along in second place to MTG..) Pokemon is still fairly popular, having annual world/state-wide/town-wide tourneys but is really dipping below the radar now. I wonder how this happend..

Did they? I always looked for sleeves and never found any for years...had to give in and buy regular ultra-pro ones. I had the deck box though! It was awesome, but they seemed to dissapear after awhile...same with the binders. I now see they are back though :)

I think it was just given as a courtesy; chosen at random rather...the first binder was only listed under Enter-play's name

I'm feeling a lot better, thanks. I just needed to sleep/sweat it out.

When you include blind bag cards, there are TONS of MLP cards to collect. The series 1 Enterplay binder didn't look to be that big. But this new binder, being hard bound, seems to be like it'll be able to fit a lot into it.

When I collected cards, it was Pokemon trading/playing cards, Pokemon trading cards, Digimon trading cards and Digimon trading/playing cards. I ended up getting about 3 1.5" binders and absolutely stuffing all the pockets and binders out of them. Granted pony isn't that bad, but it could very easily reach that point if it keeps chugging along at the rate it's going.

Glad to hear that :)

I know...luckily, I don't collect every single blind bag. Just ones that have appeared in the show. :) It's funny, the binder looks quite big to me but it filled up so fast when I added my series 2 cards heh.

Oh boy Digimon. Never knew they had cards. I do however..have about 5 binders full of pokemon cards...^^;;; That's not including my deck in the ultra-pro deck box and a medium sized pokemon card box that's full as well lol. I was way into it, loved playing in tourneys. ^^
Kinda hoping MLP doesn't reach that point. I got out of Pokemon for a reason..lack of $$$
