APHRODITE
First we have Aphrodite, goddess of lust. This is probably one of the best dye jobs I've ever done. Her necklace is custom made by me, (blackened heart at center) and she's posed beside her little French poodle.
APOLLO
Next we have Apollo, god of the sun, pictured with his monkey companion. Necklace was made by me. I'm very happy with how he turned out, especially his symbol.
ARES
Here is Ares, complete with mohawk, dual colored goatee, broken horn, and appropriate companion.
ATHENA
Next is Ares' rival sister, Athena, goddess of wisdom, also with mohawk, custom earrings, and a cute little companion. Dyeing a pony black is one of the hardest things to do. the color bleeds almost eternally, and shows up most of her imperfections, including some surface scratches. Her symbol was redone several times, and I finally decided on a simple silver owl.
OSIRIS
The only foreign god this time around, Osiris was the god of the afterlife. I depicted him with a scarab beetle symbol with sun rays above it. He has a cat companion and braided beard to boot.
PERSEPHONE
Persephone was one of the few Greek goddesses I chose to recreate in pony form that was not one of the twelve Olympians. Originally her color scheme was going to be blue and orange, but I ended up with this instead. I hope to recreate the other color scheme on Pandora, someday. Symbol is a dissected pomegranate, in case you're scratching your head.
