New non-brushable vinyl figures on the way?

Dunno what to think about that. Kinda weird. Cool box though.

Oh wow, that looks so cool! Not something I would spend more than $400 for though..... Maybe $20? Ha ha ha.

OOH!

I love POP figures. Those are usually sold at HT, F.Y.E., and other specialty stores. Around 12 to 14 usually, and they are a high quality figure. Here's hoping they start popping up everywhere!

Thats what I was thinking, Alot of the brony stuff they sell at F.Y.E. have similar package colors and designs, and of course G4 Rainbow Dash

Funko is a company that makes license pop culture stuff. They're making Rainbow Dash, Derpy Hooves, and Vinyl Scratch figures. They said this back at SDCC, but nobody was listening, apparently.

The RD is the only painted one that's out right now, though there's an unpainted Derpy floating around.

Hot Topic has the Rainbow Dash one for sale, and they did have the Derpy but are sold out now. :(

I love Funko POP figures, I have a very small but growing collection of them! I'd love to have ponies!

:yay: These are so cute! They sold out immediately- but Hot Topic keeps putting more back in stock- so keep checking! Can't bee the price- only $14.50!

I got the Bubbles one and the RD one- and a couple of extras for UK friends...

I placed my order with Hot Topic the other day and got it today. I didn't pay extra for shipping so I'm really impressed with there superior shipping. They look pretty nice I wasn't sure I'd like her to much but I do.

....

I wonder how long we get to display them before their giant heads explode?? :weird:

Just kidding-- it's the first thing I thought when I looked at them! Considering the quality of G3-G4 hair, this is a great idea! Plus they can look like parents of the blind bags.

I just bought RD and Derpy/Bubbles/Ditsy Doo at Hot Topic yesterday. They had a whole bunch and were BOGO 50% off. I haven't decided if I want to keep them or sell them. I don't really care for "pony without a name" but RD is my 2nd favorite G4. They also had the new RD bath robe, pj pants (which I got and love) and the new body jewelry plus a new sweatshirt. They have started selling WeLoveFine shirts through HT too.

Yeah, I got mine for BOGO 50% off as well. They are $14.50 each and with the discount the second one is $7.50 !

The lady at the cash register immediately recognised me! She told me that her boyfriend is a Brony and he got her into it, and they follow my blog. She asked me if I was Pinkie! I was kind of taken aback and I said "yes, that's what everyone calls me" (thinking she meant my nickname rather than my screen name) She offered me the blind bags, which I told her I had all of, and the hoodie, which I couldn't afford! Hoping she'll visit my booth at the con.

while i will admit that they're cute and i love everything with the pony name, i don't like these much. i feel like it's a cheap ploy by hasro to get brony money. anywhere you look online, for the past 3 years, bronies have complained about the real ponies with hair. But i think that the hair is part of what makes an mlp an mlp, and that without the hair they are just cute statuettes, not a my little pony, even though they may have the mlp stamp on the hoof.

i also hate that hasbro listens to the complaints and opinions of thier fair weather brony fans, and pretty much ignore the fact that they have hoards of people who love and always will love ponies. we've followed them through thier ups (g1, g3, g4) and thier downs (g2, g3.5) and they couldn't care less about us. but bronies, who hate everything pre g4, they listen to and even named a certain gray pegasus a certain name just for them. why hasbro why.

sorry 4 the rant. lol.

Personally, I don't like the term "cheap" used on them. Funko for several years now has been making great quality collectibles for many popular cartoons, shows, and music figures. And now they're branching out to MLP. For those who love Funko products like me, the ponies stand out as they're the first figure of their kind (Funko beforehand has only made humanoid form figures) and are beyond what I was expecting. They're not meant to be played with like the brushables, but collectible statues/figures as Funko has always done.

You know, these would be uber fun to make customs out of...they're like perfect for that. No dealing with rerooting hair!
