Not a Variant variant Lemon Drop

I thought she was a variant at first ...
She's just a year 1 Lemon Drop, who appears to have blue or periwinkle eyes, a pale magenta cutie marks that are almost pink with age, and a yellow so faded I wonder how much is yellowing and how much is she. But she looks beige, like she was once white before the omnipresent tabacco of the 80's dyed her yellow.

I know she's a year-one Lemon Drop because her hair is the same shiny purple that turns a slightly bluer cast when wet, like my year 1 Blossom's.

Any suggestions as to her beauty treatment? Anyway thought you'd get a kick out of how time has altered her.

The Omnipresent tobacco of the 80's
Gave secret compartment ashtrays
To every train or plane seat, personal
Caches of privacy for every small girl,
And every shy My Little Pony,
Peeking out behind the smoke-screen
Of tousled bangs - they find inside,
A tiny place to hide hopes.

Yes, I am thinking of leaving her exactly as she is. She's in very good condition despite altering nearly all her colours over time. The eyes really do look blue rather than purple.

Periwinkle eyes are the best eyes! But then I have a bias. I would make a Liz Taylor custom...but there is already Rarity.

Yes that was a bit of flash poetry. I wrote that poem for you guys on the spot from the one line in my first post. I'm glad you like it. I write poetry professionally, but I wouldn't call it a day job!


My sister has cornflower-blue eyes (that periwinkle-ish blue that doesn't allow green). It's striking to see it in a human face. Lucky her! I got our dad's indistinct greenish-grey with possibly blue mixed-in.


The Firefly VHS variant has periwinkle blue eyes, by the way, but hooray for good old Rarity!
