NOT mint Giant MO Frilly? *Pics!*

I have my own Frilly, but my 12 year old SIL just decided she's too OLD for ponies. (And she's telling this to a 26 year old collector? Please. :p )

So she gave me nearly all her ponies, plus Frilly, too. But Frilly has lived over a year in a house with a 12 year old, a 9 year old, and a 5 year old, so she's not in the best shape. Her legs are buckled (she can't stand, just lays) and the black string of her mouth has been pulled loose, plus her hair is kind of matted. No stains, though, or anything drastically damaging.

I don't have room for another giant plush, much as I'd love to keep her for novelty's sake. (My Frilly was one of the first 10, hers is the normal one so they're the tiniest bit different.)

Would anyone be interested in her in this condition? I'd probably offer her up for trade first and foremost. And shipping on her might be a bit cheaper. She doesn't weigh any less, but with her legs buckled, she'd fit in a smaller box. What would her trade value be in such condition, would anyone know?

I'll try and get pics of her tomorrow. Thanks for any info!

Edit: Pics! Please excuse her surroundings. She's up on my washer/dryer to keep her out of reach of the dogs.

I have a friend who missed out on her and would love her in any condition, but I'm afraid I don't have much to trade besides loose G3's or maybe a custom commission :?
Psst...you should take Woosie up on that. Have you seen those customs? :p A pic will definitely help us out for a price range, though. So, untill tomorrow.

Id be interested in her, but Im in the UK and I fear the shipping would be outrageous.

Me too! You should have plenty of interest in her. I'd love her! ;)

I would be interested too, but I also suggest taking Woosie up on her offer, because thats an amazing offer, and something you can't buy with money. :)

I would be interested in her too...she would be loved by me and my kids (legs would probably buckle more), but jump on Woosie's offer. She does wonderful customs!!!

Actually, she could be fixed up. I know people have replaced the cardboard with PVC pipes, so her legs would be easily fixed, and the string is another quick fix for her mouth. Some cleaners and such will work pretty well on cleaning the fabric, and someone who is patien would probably be able to get her hair under control.

Unless she'd been in a fire or something, "used condition" is still a pretty good condition for someone that just wants one!

Frilly looks cute laying down...hehe. Dont worry I managed to get a cigarette burn on mine lol

She's still really cute and I wouldn't have a problem fixing her up either. That's easily done. I'd love her as I missed out on the promo, but I'd have to wait later to see what I can afford. *sniff*

I would take her too! *gets in line* Let me know if everyone else backs out! You cant buy the big ones around here, I've never actually seen one in person.

Thanks for the interest, everyone. I'm still curious as to what her value would be, though. A good condition one would go around $100, right? So with her flaws, what? $80? Less? $50? Shipping would easily be $30 for her, right?

If you remove the cardboard in her legs and her stuffing, the shipping would be much cheaper. If someone was planning on restoring her anyway, I am sure they wouldn't mind.

(My daughter sleeps hanging off of her bed so she can hug her Frilly who is on the floor next to it.)

I had the same problem with mine. She had been climbed on too many times by two little girls. Anyway I found a way to sort of make her "stand" again.

I think she looks cute sitting too though! Good luck!

I have a Minty from Australia who has busted leg supports as well. She does the same thing as your Frilly. I've been wanting to fix her, but I've been too nervous to cut her open.

Oh, her mouth has been pulled out of shape, too. But I'm thinking that's going to be much easier to fix (though I haven't gotten around to it yet, she just arrived here in the states yesterday, with the rest of our belongings that we shipped when we moved).

Luckily, my Frilly's legs are in good condition and she's still standing for now.
