The trade show, Spielwarenmesse - Nuremberg Toy Fair starts today

Both Hasbro and Basic Fun are listed as exhibitors. I'm excited to see if any new pony images or news will surface. If anyone sees anything new shown please share it!

I know sometimes exhibitors at trade toy shows can be secretive or not really show much in the way of new product but I'm hopeful for something exciting. (Happy to see Moose Toys and MGA will be there as well. Fingers crossed for some interesting new toy news this weekend!)

So far, in this preview supplement Hasbro does mention MLP will be showcased but no other details (pg 70)

I wanna hear all about it! :)

there's a Sunny running around. That was the opening ceremony
there's more at 0:34

at 4:18 he's at the Hasbro stall, but it's not open for everyone. At 5:20 he walks by the stall of Basic Fun. In the video I can see Care Bears and Littlest Pet Shop, but he doesn't walk in.

Littlest Pet Shop at 3:48
great Sylvanian Families display

Thanks for linking all the videos @Flicksi !!
I saw the 3rd one yesterday morning and meant to post it later but forgot. The Nebulous Stars booth toward the end of that one is so beautiful. I like the artwork more than the dolls though. Too bad Hasbro has such controlled access (not unexpected but still lame) but maybe we'll still get some news from inside. I hope someone will post a tour of Basic Fun.

I saw someone post a quick flash of Unicorn Academy. Those look like they will be quite pretty.

Also saw an interview of the ceo of Moose Toys and it's seems they are not allowing video inside their area either but I was a little disappointed to hear him talking mostly about how excited they are about their new collaboration with Mr. Beast. I'm like what about Magic Mixies Pixlings! Talk about those!! :D

OMG I have two Magic Mixies Pixlings and I seriously love them! I bought the first one on a whim when I was in Walmart and feeling kind of sad, and it cheered me up more than I thought it would, now I am hooked!
(hope that’s not too off~topic)

@Glory the Magic Unicorn Pixlings are adorable and I love that their style looks to be in the same family as Zelfs, because I loved those when they were out. There hasn't been one that I've felt was a "need" for me yet but I do like them a lot and want there to be more. It's cool that their bottles are color coded too in case you don't want the surprise aspect, they aren't completely blind boxed.

@Flitter Oh wow I was wrong, the things I have are Mixlings, not Pixlings. They came in a blind bag like this:

at 1:53 there's a display with a My little Pony banner, but do the boxes look like pony or do they belong to the Hello Kitty section?

The only thing new is the Series 2 G1 Plushes, that are coming out in the spring. I see they are focusing more on Care Bears and Littlest Pet Shop this year. They launched the Celestial Ponies, rereleased the g1 original six, the g1 2 inch mini ponies, the Target Exclusive pearlized 3 pack, and the series 1 g1 plushes for last year's 40th anniversary toyline. I wish they make some more original new pony characters, like they have been doing with Care Bears lately. Instead of 4 per wave, I think they should make more like 6 or 12 new pony characters and release them as 3 or 4 wave releases throughout the year for the 2024/2025 toyline.

The art is on some single-boxed plushies (open boxes without a window), so yeah they are specific to the plushes which is why Moondancer has pink hair and a gold horn. I saw the packages on Facebook . . . I can't remember where they were ordered from. Not Amazon. A "real" store, I think.

I would encourage everyone to write in to Basic Fun and let them know (politely of course) what you want, that is how we got the Celestial ponies to begin with. :) They have been so faithful with their reproductions, they might not know that the MLP community would love original ponies too. IMO the "old" side of MLP (as opposed to the brony side) is really hard to find these days unless you already know where to look. I feel like everyone's first stop is Youtube when looking for info these days.

Yep, those are beheaded plushies. They’ve done them with Miraculous. Here’s an idea of what they are:
