So I'm watching a listing with a yellow marked Birthday pony = is this some kind of mail order special then? anybody know if this was a "normal" price ??

I was gonna bid like $56 and got BLOWN away by seeing it sail over $100

Edit: Its from Rhode Island--isn't that where the Hasbro factory used to be??? Maybe that's why its a variant?

WOW that's cool then had no idea no one had not seen this... interesting to think there may be a connection to hasbro factory. I thought since Fifi was in a bag, it was more related to that pony points stuff and being the birthday pony, there might've been a club/MO special...

I feel like that's more than a variant. Call me crazy, but I think that might be the prototype used in the photos on the Birthday Pony's packaging. It is crazy pretty

Yeah, I second ichigo - I was just about to post that the drawings and outlet pictures show Birthday Pony as having blue/pink and yellow symbols...

LOL....I think the others kind of answered most of your questions. She doesn't normally go for that price. And she doesn't normally have that yellow on her. Birthday pony usually goes for around $8-$12. She was issued to celebrate 10 years of MLP: Year 10 (1991-1992) - Ponies -- Page 2 of 2
