So, i have the 2007 Comic Con super pony.

I'm dying to let her out of her bag but i hate opening MIB/MOC ponies

Decision decisions

If you had her, would you open her?

I keep the special ones sealed but if you're dying to open the bag, you should.

Ive kept all mine in the packs.... just couldnt do it!

I keep mine in the plastic as well. Ultimately it is up to you, but I wouldn't. Also, when you get her, you will notice that it is just closed with tape, not sealed, so if you do decide to keep her in bag and then notice that, just know that opening the tape may stretch the plastic where you remove it. So don't be tempted by the little piece of tape thinking it might not matter.

It's really up to you, me personally, i still have the first series of the G3 ponies sealed, all my ponies have never been opened, and my comic con pony, it's still sealed in it's plastic bag, i would never open her. I wouldn't do it but it's your pony, whatever makes you happy, life is short, enjoy it while you can with your ponies :020:

When it comes to MOC or MIB things, generally, I'm a little kid. They are toys and therefore meant to be played with. That's what they were created for. I can't help but feel sorry for the poor little things suffocating inside boxes, bags, and bubbles, never knowing the loving caress of human touch ...
Yes, I tend to personify inanimate objects a bit much, but it's more fun that way.
It probably stems from receiving several special edition Barbies as a child, and being told I couldn't play with them. My logic of course was "But she comes with a brush! She's supposed to be played with!".
I've yet to buy a MOC, MIB G1, but if I cam across one for a decent price, I'd probably buy it and open it. I imagine there's nothing else quite like being able to open that vintage pony for the first time, knowing nobody else ever has ...

I'm rambling.

Long story short, I'd say open herrrrrrr!

x0x_Applejack_x0x, I totally know what you mean and agree with you! I personify inanimate objects too, probably even more than you do! I even take some of my rainbow brite dolls to bed with me.

So anyway I say open her!

I'm with Applejack!! Open her! I open all my ponies! I can't stand the thought of leaving them in their little prisons when Kayleigh and I could be brushing their hair and they could be "socializing" with the other ponies! LOL

I just couldn't do it, but that's just me. :)

When I got mine, the box was open and the bag shut. That's the way it will stay. I didn't pay $44 to decrease it's value by opening it.

But for you, if you want open it go for it. Don't let anybody stop you.

The bags just taped. Not much sealing ;)

I had several but left them MIB. (bag AND box. No removing from that bag) I freed my other personal taped baggy ponies too for displaying (but only my PERSONAL keeper girls.) I never open sealed bags tho. So the early exclusives, like Bay Breeze & all 3 project ponies are keep forever sealed in ugly plastic. Can't break 'em out. LOL. I am leaving the plastic in the mane and tail tho. Silly aren't I? But I can't talk myself into going to the dark side all the way so they are free but in hair-cuffs.....

But for my personal Super pony, I opened her for display. She is stunning! She needed to be free to fly and frankly a little piece of tape isn't much protection. I don't ever intend to sell her and she'd look awful funny flying around ponyville in a plastic baggy :p

If you are keeping her? And are dying to? Why not? If you have any reservations about opening her tho, then hold off and wait until you know for sure what you want. I always knew that I would open 1 for me so it was easy to do. Knowing that I don't care about her value as I am keeping her and she holds MORE value to me loose, well..... VERY easy choice. Hair-cuffs and all *big grin* And BTW, I am a firm believer of keeping sealed bags and MOC/MIB ponies sealed but when it comes to the taped baggies and ONLY if I am definitely keeping that one for displaying in my collection, I don't see why not :)

Heh, this dilemma is why I have 2 superponies! One free to fly and her clonie MIB. I hate those plastic haircuffs! LOL Styling her hair properly was much fun. :D

LOL @ Avea

Wysteria made me a Custom Bay Breeze so that I could have a free girl. Sad thing is, she turned out even prettier than the original! I keep both the custom and MIB Baby Breeze together on display.

Someone is picking me up 2 2008 Con ponies again this year and I am definitely freeing mine again, LOL. Secret Ninja Kato........ Will be be Super pony's friend or be a villian out for all pony power? *grin*

Id probably open the box itself but not the little plastic bag.... :D

I agree with Terri. I might open the box (providing it is packaged like the 2008 fair pony) but I would try to leave the bag sealed. It is really a personal preference issue. I am reluctant to think of parting with any of my ponies but the remote possibility of someday reselling one of the Comic Con or Fair ponies prevents me from opening them.:ducky:

I didn't open mine... She's still in a bag, though she didn't come IN her box, but with it... I can't open MIB stuff. I just can't bring myself to do it... Both the 2007 Fair Exclusive and Comic Con ponies in bags still... I don't even want to open them, to let them breath. I feel bad, but I just can not do it. >_<

I have the 2007 Comic Con pony (bought her at the Con - wish I were there this year) and I have never opened her.

She comes in a white box that says MLP 2007 COLLECTERS EXCLUSIVE 1. Never opened her. Went back to buy one to open, but they were sold out on Saturday. I never open anything. So I stare at a white box.

If I had the room to properly display mine I would leave mine out of the box. For me, I opened her, took her out of the plastic, and later packaged her up again. I think it's silly to leave these neat ponies like the fair ponies in the boxes because you can't see their awesomeness. What you could do, as I might, is take her out but leave the plastic thing in her hair and if you had the space, save the box and baggy. *shrug* The box is boring anyway. ;) Good luck!

I opened mine as soon as i got her. I cant do the MIP thing. The only one that remained MIP was Baybreeze.
