Slugger has his hat. Moonjumper's head/body slightly do not match.

I could be wrong, but I though Moonjumper was one of the more sought after wingers? I was thinking $15-25?

why is slugger so low with his hat? i would have expected a price in the 30's or 40's.

Yeah, Slugger with hat would go for more. I think the hat alone goes for like $20 or 30, and the BB's seem to go for around $15-20 on their own. So I'd say $35-50ish

I go by what I've seen him sell for with his hat. I bought him with his hat in NM for condition for $8...lol... And I see his hat sell for $10 often.

You would be surprised. The big brothers don't go for as much as you think. I keep tabs on eBay. I'll see an excellent condition Chief go for maybe $15 one day and then another excellent condition one go for $5 the next. So then that averages out to $10. It's up and down and crazy sometimes, but the averages are lower than you think.

As for Slugger, his hair is frizzy, it's faded to white, he's definitely not in near mint condition for that sheer fact, I'd not put him anywhere near the $50 range. By himself without the hat, he'd be hovering around $10-$15. Add the hat, and you add another $5-$15, depending on what the market is doing. You'd have to add a bandanna and a brush to put him anywhere near $40, in fact.

Maybe I low-balled him at $20. Maybe $25-$30 is better, but that hair really bugs me. And not being able to see his hat in the photo bugs me even more.

Sort of off subject, but hasn't Slugger's hair always been white? When I bought him brand new from Toys 'R Us back when he came out, his hair was curly and white with the pink streak in his mane. (And of course his hair was trained the wrong way so the pink was on the bottom :) ) I agree this one's hair is frizzy, but I don't believe it's faded. Just curious.

didnt see the need to show his hat for a price check. frizzy hair is easily fixable, atleast with his current state. slugger doesn't have faded hair, it's white with the pink streak.

I must be really unlucky then, all I've found is a cancer-ridden Chief without his hat for $20.00

Slugger's hair isn't faded lol it's supposed to be white. And the one she has in the picture looks great, his mane is fine, body looks clean, symbols great. His tail looks a little unruly, but I wouldn't be able to judge if that's frizzy from the pic. It's definitely not to the point where it's unfixable. Ponies that came with curl usually end up a little crazy after 20ish years (the hair not the pony lol)

Sounds like you come across a lot of great pony deals in your reselling business, and that's awesome, but I'm sticking by what I said :)

You might be thinking of Steamer, he had pink hair.

That's a possibility. I had to go peek at my Slugger (mine has white hair). I figured it was just faded, but you're probably right. But then again, I bought mine for $8. But it at least his hair is tame. I just don't like to see people overpricing ponies and taking advantage of people. A lot of people try to do that on eBay. I see common ponies marked RARE all the time and skyrocketing their prices and putting huge BINs on them.

I know, BINs on ebay are crazy! I keep seeing the super common G1s marked "rare" with BINs of $25.00

It makes me upset.
