For years, I've been attempting to draw as many ponies as I possibly could with my own twists to them. Every time I did, though, I got bored and gave up after two or three were done. A few weeks ago, I started up again, and so far, I've managed to do two per generation. Hopefully I can keep it up.
Let me emphasize that these are my own personal interpretations of these characters. I am absolutely not trying to "fix" them.
Please feel free to suggest who I should do next!

Firefly
I took a good bit of inspiration from Steve Beaumont's concept art of her. I kinda wish I could go back and make her hair more similar to how it looked in RaMC.
Moonstone
I don't want all the rainbow hair ponies to have the exact same shades in their hair, and I felt it would fit Moonstone if I lightened it up. I also thought a more G5 style horn would suit her, too. Oh, and her symbol, horn, and jewelry are supposed to look like actual moonstone.

Eve
When I first saw her, I thought her hair was blue and yellow. It's not; It's blue and pink. I decided to implement the yellow anyways. Also, she's a lifeguard.

Some of his artwork give him blonde bangs. I thought it was cute, so I added a little blonde to the front of his mane.

Applejack
No real reason behind the splotches; I just thought they were cute.
Aurora Mist
There's not really a whole lot I wanted to change about her. She's very pretty as is.

Twilight Sparkle ("Twibrite")
Let me be the first to admit I went way too overboard with her. I've made quite a few redesigns for her in the past, and I just sorta smashed 'em all together here. If it was up to me, her name would be Twibrite (too many Twilight's), and she would have remained a unicorn.
Princess Celestia ("Queen Solestia")
I've had this design sitting around of her for awhile. I still really like it. If it was up to me, she would be a queen rather than a princess, and her name would be Solestia. I just like punny pony names.

We know next to nothing about her personality, as she is just a bg character, so much of this was up to my own personal interpretation of her. I'm pretty sure her symbol is supposed to be a stormcloud, but I changed it to something that fits with her (fan-given) name.

Again, I didn't change much about her. I love Izzy's design as is. For the most part, I just gave her lil glowing speckles, and changed her symbol to something more similar to how it looked in some of her concept art.
