pony bridal shower

So on Saturday I threw a pony-themed bridal shower for Childwize. It was a lot of fun! Wish her well, as she is getting married June 3rd!

Various wedding themed ponies made an appearance, and I even made a cake with my Wilton cake pan. I had fun with the air-brush frosting, but the gel icing gave me trouble. You can't really tell, but the symbol is a celtic heart symbol that is a recurring motif in her wedding.

Childwize received lots of great pony-themed gifts, but IMHO the coolest was a custom-made MLP apron. It was made from a G3 shower curtain!

It was also great to finally meet goddessofpeep! She, Childwize and I had fun playing MLP Madlibs after everyone else had gone. I'm still giggling!

Anyhow, just wanted to share!

The cake was wonderful. She did well on the symbol. It's a Celtic heart knot. It is the symbol for our wedding. It's on all of our stationary.

The apron was a huge surprise. I can't believe my friend Kathy made it! She's not even a collector. It really looks store bought. Goddessofpeep, BabyMedly and I were really puzzed over it because we all thought we would know if they made a G3 apron. lol You should of seen our faces. hahahaahaaaaahaa

I loved everything I got. It was a blast. I will cherish the day forever. Thank you
