Pony Dreams

So many "shows", not so many "tells", so I decided to tell you all about a pony dream. I was at a flea market that was closing soon. My mom told me that she had seen ponies at 3 other booths. I rushed around, and found some. What was awful is that there were SO many ponies and I knew I didn't have time to look through as much as I wanted. I saw the most amazing G1 merchandise that I'm pretty sure didn't exist in real life, including some oversized magazines. The ponies were all G1 and in excellent condition. I started piling them up, hoping that the owner would give me a discount instead of reading the prices tag by tag. I always always always dream about taf baby ponies. Baby Sugarberry is usually the star, and I always think about how I already have her, so I can sell the new one for a profit. This time, I kept finding Baby Dancing Butterflies. I really wanted those magazines. At $19.99 each, the price was steep, but they were worth it to me. Next, I saw some boxes for G9 ponies. Yes. Generation NINE. Oh my goodness. That's when I knew the dream was almost over, and sure enough, I woke up. That last part would be a nightmare to me... I'm definitely a G1 collector who is ok with some G3's, but no others. Anyway, if you've had pony dreams, I'd love to hear them.

I've only had one pony dream since I started collecting this year. I dreamt that I found my old bag of childhood ponies and I was trying to restore them. I remember trying to take the smooze off the flank of a pegasus pony. The odd thing is that almost none of the ponies in my dream were ones that I've ever owned... I only ever had one pegasus, Tickle, and the pony in my dream was definitely either Sugar Apple or a NSS Wind Whistler, who are both currently at the top of my wishlist. But when I woke up I felt a little depressed and nostalgic, because I wanted to have actually found my old ponies again.

I am also a G1 collector and have been since I was a small child. I remember when I was a kid having a dream that ponies were real and that Firefly came and got me and I got to fly around on her back for hours. It probably came straight from my Firefly's Adventure movie (the only one I had and the first MLP thing I ever got, I wasn't born until 1988 so by the time I was old enough to fall in love with MLP most of it was over.) This was the best dream I think I have ever had, I would try and fall back asleep thinking about it hoping that I would start having the dream again. As an adult I have had countless dreams of finding big hoards of G1s, either at stores, thrift shops, garage sales whatever and just endlessly looking through them and trying to grab as many as I can. The dream always ends before I ever get to take them home though :cry2: Pony dreams are the best but they can also be really depressing when you wake up and realize they weren't real!

Last week I dreampt I fell in love with this tall handsome, blonde guy and we went pony shopping so I could make customs and while we were out. Picked up my daughter to take her with us. Then we brought the ponies and my little girl back to my house (that I lived in when I was 10 years old and no longer live there) and to my childhood bedroom so I could put the ponies on the shelves and play with my little girl while him and I hugged each other and had a good time laughing and goofing off.

It was a happy dream

Usually when I dream of ponies, it's of shopping for them and finding a great sale of terrific ponies but I can't get them all before I wake up! LOL It's got to symbolize something! I'm just not sure what yet! ha ha :LOL:

That is probably a prophetic dream, one day there will be G9s LOL.

I once dreampt that I went to a thrift store and found a mimic! I rushed to the counter and bought it and when I went home, I noticed that it was covered in flocking. I knew that wasn't supposed to be there and I started rubbing it off and when I got all of it off....it turned into a g4 rainbow dash. And then I woke up...

I remember a dream from when I was little about having a dream where I found a large portal into their world! I was super excited and ended up becoming a baby pegasus pony all blue and purple. It has been so long though I don't remember much of it, just a few images still in my head. It was all G1 looking ponies and I remember waking up kinda sad because my ponies weren't back yet. I had this dream before G3 came about when I always would ask when are the ponies coming back?

I had one last week that i was in a walmart and found the newest wave of blind bags, the power was out and i was trying to read the codes with my cell phone light trying to find my cheese sandwich! It kindda came true... this week i found them at my walmart, but the power was on

I remember telling you all about that one where I was trying to get to some "childhood" ponies
but when I opened the cabinet they were in, they turned into toy cars. /sob

Also, I dreamt that Scout's mom from Team Fortress 2 gave me a box of Scout's childhood G1 ponies to clean up. It had Firefly, Fizzy,
and I think maybe a blue Ember?? Along with a bunch of others. She told me that Fizzy was his right hand pony. Funny, considering that she had a nice mohawk going on.
To this day, I still headcanon that his favorite pony was Fizzy as a child. ♥
