I remember that pony. I put the seller on my poo list. I understand that it’s hard to take great photos and if they’re not a collector, some flaws don’t exist to them since they don’t know what to look for. It was definitely a difficult situation. :xmashug:Which flutter was it? Hmmm…That always surpises me when sellers don't individually wrap ponies. I always bubble wrap mine &then wrap in tissue. I'm always worried them banging around in the box would cause paint chips. At least the cut wasn't noticeable, but I feel you, when you know it's still frustrating !
The worst experience I had was a seller selling me a flutterpony with a huge chunk missing out of her foot, which was not pictured, sucks too because I was told on here because it was a "good deal" it was ok+not a scam tbh it hurt because I just wanted to warn people because if she didn't describe that flaw, why wouldn't she describe others and she had other ponies listed for way more and I just didn't want to have anyone here get ripped off. Really sucked because no matter what the price not describing flaws is wrong. & Deceptive photography as a seller is wrong.
Oh and one time I opened a package and the seller switched out a pony luckily it was a G3 sweetie Belle McDonald's pony for a sweetie Belle G4 which was fine but still& there was literal bugs in G4 raritys hair! Ewwy
Worse experience as a kid was at my 3rd grade birthday party(I'm 26yo so this was in early 2000s) , I had a sleepover party and on my desk I had all my l ponies displayed, honestly had played much with them but still did,and I got bullied the whole time to the point I was crying. I ran downstairs and remember putting in the VHS tape the movie with Star Catcher, and it comforted me&made me love MLP even more. My mother hated the girl who started the bullying for years& the girl ended up bullying me again in 8th grade. Terrible person . Screw them though,I'm happy with my toys!
I’m also sorry to hear that people were mean. What’s wrong with a 3rd grader liking ponies? I got a real pony for my ninth birthday. That was fourth grade, and I have always been a bit obsessed. Anyone who knew me then could tell you, purple, ponies, puppies, and ballet. That’s me in for words. I still get made fun of. My daughter even told me that ‘any other kid would be embarrassed to have me as a mom’ ouch. At least we always have our ponies.
@Lilykin I agree, unlisted smoke smell is the worst. I now ask before I buy if they don’t have it listed as ’no odors’ and ‘smoke free, cat free home’.
