(To read the rules and what-for for this, MARCH PONY MADNESS, please see the first Heat, linked to here)
This is something new I'd like to try with Madness. The bracket system is inherently winner-based - it cuts to the point: Who gon' win?
But, other than finding a winner, it's also luck-of-the-draw. Let's fast-forward to the winner of Madness. She invariably had a Heat #1. What if the pony she first beat had been on the other side of the brackets? That pony could have very well had many wins of her own, eventually losing to the winner in the final Heat. Instead, she went up against the winner right away.
What I'd like to do then is rank the first set of losers. Let's call it Madness redemption. At the end of the month, as the winner is announced, I will put together a ranked list of all 32 ponies. This list won't be completely kink-free, because that would require many, many, many more polls than is reasonable. But it can at least be a bit more balanced with a handful of supplement polls.
So, what you should do here is vote for your FAVORITE amung the 16 losers of the first set of heats. I'll offer another supplement poll after the second set of heats has ended, and then another after the third set, etc. for 4 supplement polls overall.
This poll will expire after 3 days.
