I'm really glad that so many of you here and on the other boards are coming along, it will be LOADS of fun!!!!

The cafe is called Candy Cakes and it is downstairs at Covent Garden Piazza (you can check out their website - Candy Cakes - Coffee Cakes and Shakes but be warned - you WILL drool all over your PC! )

The meet will begin at 12.30pm - please confirm that you can make it, so I can phone to see about booking some tables.

Hello!!!!

The date has been confirmed for Saturday 17th April.

If you haven't seen this post on the UK Ponycon board, here it is! :

My friend and I discovered an amazing little cake shop in London's Covent Garden - it's tucked away in little alcoves and it's like...well... being inside Minty!!!!
(Not that I've ever actually been inside Minty...)

It's all cosy and lovely, painted green with big pink stools, all cute and pony-ish and we got to thinking -
this would be the perfect place for a pony meet!!!!

So if you like cakes, milkshakes, sweeties, friends and ponies, please let me know and I can book a few little tables and we can hold our very own pony meet in Minty's tummy!

I'm thinking the end of March or in April, so around Easter...?
We can swap, buy, sell, show and tell and talk ponies while gorging on cake. Yay!

Please let me know who's up for it!!!!!

It would be great if you guys could join us (there are a few ponies from the UK forum coming along). It should be lots of fun - ponies and cakes, sounds like a pretty good Saturday afternoon to me!!!

I'll be adding a few more details (times, directions, etc) in a coupla days.

I'd love to come. However, I'll be visiting my boyfriend in the US during the Easter holidays, and I'll only return on the 17th of April. I don't know if the date is set, but if it isn't, could we maybe choose the weekend after?

aww it's on a saturday...I can't get the time off as there is no one to replace me on a sat :( I really wish I could've come though *sigh* I hope you all have alot of fun! :D
 
It sounds like so much fun. Unfortunately, there's no way I can be there at that time. I wish we could have done it on Sunday. Ah well... Maybe you'll meet again another time. Have lots of fun!
 
Aw, it sounds terrific!! I wish I could go, but I´m saving for this year´s Ponycon...

Have lots of fun, eat lots of cake and take loads of pictures to share! :allecto:
