Tinsel Frizz (evil).
Hair Cuts--seriously, who lets kids play with scissors? I hated toys that had hair cuts when I was a kid, but it's worse now. What is worse than ripping into a lot of ponies, after the one you really wanted only to find...HAIR CUT?!
Marker/Pen/Ink/Highlighter or anything that MCME can't remove. So tragic
Sun Fading--yeah, it kind of works, about like sweeping your floor with a toothbrush.
Chew marks--if they are still teething, ponies are not age appropriate.
Being treated like a wierd Crazy Pony Lady because I'm a 35 year old mother of two who collects toys...( of course how much of that is my own issue?)
Having to resize pics so that I can post them here...
Going to all the work to list my ponies here and only getting 3 responses, especially exhaustively listing all the flaws and looking up resonable prices, and then resizing them ad nauseum. I would much rather sell here to collectors, but alas, few here besides me seem to want G3. Maybe the fact that I can upload directly to ebay AND see views/watches has something to do with the aforementioned dis-loyalty.

The best way to explain regreind is the plastic reverting to its original color. Ugly and and splotchy. Ick. And rule 34. . . Google it.
 
How are you trying to sunfade your ponies, CPL? I've had good luck with mine except when it's rainy out (which it is the season here in FL). :)
 
I also do not like the term cutie mark, it sounds really stupid.

Can't stand bronies that put down anything that is not G4 and the ones that are just really creepy. You know...which ones 0-o.

The lack of G1 animation cels 0-O other tahn MLP Tales. SOOO annoying >.<

Well, first off, I live in the PNW, where we are all vitamin D deficient! I foil the ponies hair, mask off eyes and symbol and leave her in the sun. It took 4+ weeks to get marker out of Daisy May, and you can still see it in some lights....Fluttershy was out for 2 mo, and still has markings. I'm going to try again with Coconut Cream, but I don't think I'll get her finished before the Long Grey (aka late fall to late spring). Oh well, it's worth a try.
 
I have the agree with the whole "cutie mark" thing. It's a symbol. lol

Other than that....not too much bothers me. I don't really watch the cartoons. I collect all generations, so I just giggle when I read people ranting that one generation is better than the other.

Oh....I guess that this is a peeve......I hate when I am reading the hub page on facebook, and no matter what the topic is, you see "needs more ponies". Ugh, it make me want to find these people and just punch them.

I guess another peeve would be the variety of blind bag ponies vs. the variety of brushable ponies. I'm sure it's just cheaper to produce the blind bags, but as someone who only collects the brushables...it irks me. lol. I just keep hoping that all of the ponies are made as a blind bag are someday put out as brushables too.

Oh.....and that I haven't found Rapunzel at a yard sale yet. lol

This. Also, how FiM and the toyline don't match - Cupcake, Junebug, Sapphire Shores... Plus the fact that only recently did we start getting characters from the show, background or otherwise, as brushables. It took them 2 years to finally release Trixie? Really? And I'm still waiting for at least Lily Blossom to show up in the show!

No Starsong or Toola Roola analogues in G4. I know the Core 7 was a dumb idea, but come on, they adapted everyone else...

Lack of character continuity between Gens other than 3 (and even 3... Where's Minty? And Kimono?). Thank Hasbro for Applejack, at least... :p

Any kind of Gen VS Gen combat.

Some color schemes on G2 ponies. Dangit G2, I wanted to like you more! Why did you have such weird tastes in color? Why??

Knowing that certain characters are absolutely disliked by some people. *inner child speaking* Twilight Sparkle reminds me of myself, if you don't like her, does that mean you don't like me...? Sniff... - :p

Head/body mismatch. It should not be!

Fading pink hair! Why is it so widespread? Why does it fade so easily? Why does it require such special treatment? Why did it have to be so pretty and have so many problems? Why, why, why??

2. Head/body mismatch (although I have been known to Franken-pony a matching one out of two mismatches)
3. Regrind
4. The belief that you can't heat-straighten clear tinsel. You totally can. You can heat-straighten anything if you do it right.
5. Rust/grime in the legs of a pony because I never have pipecleaners onhand to clean them
6. The way Peruvian ponies smell
7. Cumbersome packaging on the new ponies. I want my custom bait NOW darn it!!
8. Having to show ID to buy acetone.
9. People who set a price for a pony and then decide to have an auction when 2 people PM asking about it. Just sell the pony.
10. Bronies. Again.
 
oooooo oh boy, I'm pretty loving on my ponies (I have some with hair cuts, cancer, fading, chews, all the flaws. I'm a yard-sale mostly collector so I can't be real picky when it comes to looks. I'm just happy to add them to my home and love them, regardless of what they've been through in the past. poor little things.) That being said I can say I do not really care for the g3.5. They bum me out, they're too much like the new littlest petshop bobble head toys. But even that being said, I have some of them as well.

I do not fans of g4 who hatefully bash on the older gen ponies, as I read above a few times, people who get ***** about old rainbow dash and claim "thats not her real personality, bla bla bla shes all wrong back then!" I don't think they understand the concept that g1, g2, and g3 came BEFORE g4....

The awful obsession with bronies and RainbowDash merchandise.... You're really gonna pay $9 for a bracelet that has her outline on it? I hate how over priced all of it is....

Also as stated above people who do not post ponies for sale or trade here first rather than jumping on ebay. I'm still really new on here but there are so many people on here that work really hard to make you feel at home and part of the heard so why not try to help out your heard first rather than spreading out to strangers off site? I know I've dealt with some awesome super sweet good people on here and I feel like we've bonded. I try to find them things on their lists or make this little goodies, because if you treat others well and help others maybe they'll treat you well and help you out as well.

other than that I'm pretty low key....

The fact that every time the stores get more ponies in they are cleared out a day later…Bronies? Maybe? I blame them all the same… im ok with little girls getting them all I just don’t see a parent buying all the blind bags in one day.

This^^. And also when the leave the EMPTY blind bag box JUST SITTING THERE. And they end up being out of stock. This has happened multiple times.

yes....! We only have one TRU, and regardless of what people said, I couldn't find the blind bags anywhere else. But the guy at TRU says they're so popular! yeah, everytime I go there's freaking NOTHING there, because the bronies inhaled it all. Yes, inhaled. It's like crack for them.

Can't wait for them to go back to transformers and we get all their MIP merch for rock bottom prices because they need room for their new gen bumblebees.
 
i hate when people shake their finger at me for deboxing ponies... especially when i ask plainly and politely NOT to do so.....:confused:

I also hate when i have a pony for sale and people ask if i will sell them ponies that are part of my collection and obviously NOT for sale :cussing:

and you know they're just going to go list them on Amazon or something...like around here, it's not necessarily bronies but dealers. :scratch: there's a good fan base around here, but for anything that's rarer to go so quick..yeah.

Sorry, no offense to you guys who do like them. Seems like lots of people do... but they give me scary zombie dreams, so I try to avoid them! The only zombie movie I like is Shaun of the Dead, and even it has parts I won't watch.

Another pony peeve: The ComicCon Derpy Scalpers. I seriously want one, but I don't $200 want one... Wish I had connections at the convention that could have gotten me one. My hubs swears he thinks there's prolly a warehouse full of them somewhere lol!
 
It amazes me how much people hate on bronies. I understand how the majority of them are...a tad bit crazy, ignorant, rude etc. But there are some of them, like me, that aren't that way. I'm okay with G1s. I used to watch it as a kid. Heck I even have some G1s. I even have one or two G3s (I love white ponies and they look awesome in g3!) and I didn't start collecting them UNTIL I got into FIM.

So I guess I would say, I hate it when people say they hate bronies, because not ALL of us are crazy, ignorant, Rude, rule 34 etc.

oh and walmart. Wtf how is saving .05 cents a sale!? Thats not a sale!!!
And how people steal blind bag ponies..its 1.96!!!! Just buy it!

ME too!... come on 150-200 for a pony... thats just a no go for my budget....maybe if one of us wins the lottery we can buy a big stock of them and sell them here for what they were suppose to be...lol...*wishful thinking*

i dont hate bronies, my cusin is a bronie and i still like him, i would just rather blame the bronies for walmart being out of ponies then the little kids... i cant hate on the little ones so i blame the boys
