Augh, I have a mild pony emergency here!

I was just attempting to clean a very flawed Skyflier in my bathroom sink when I noticed that a few strands of hair were falling out while I worked. I didn't think too much of it at first since I know it's a pretty common thing, but then more and more hair started to come out (even after I'd stopped cleaning her) until there was a big pile of it in the bottom of my sink! It looks like one of her plugs came straight out of her head!

She already had a few plugs missing/cut in the front of her mane, but now it looks like another one just unlodged itself. Could this mean that her hair is starting to fall out? A strand came out of her tail as well.

Here are some pictures of the damage (the missing hair came from the very short plug that's sticking up). I'm keeping the stray hairs in a tissue until I can figure out what to possibly do for her; you can see just how much came out, and that's just the hair that I was able to hold onto!

Any help is appreciated! :sadpony:

Just looking from the pictures, it kind of looks like the hair plugs actually ripped in two. I wonder if it might be something with how she was stored before you got her, because I've never heard of anything causing hair to fall out like that.

Worst comes to worst, you could always pop her head off and see if there's anything wrong with the plugs themselves. You could probably even do a rehair, if you wanted to.

It looks to me like the hair is breaking off. I've had that happen maybe three or four times on G1's with red hair. Mine were primarily caused by sun damage, but I think very high heat and certain chemicals can cause it as well.
