What does meme mean or stand for? I don't have a smartphone and my only computer is a kindle fire. I remember the days before internet exisited. I feel so old misunderstanding all these newfangled gadgets and slang.

Basically you see a picture and it reminds you of a saying or idea and you put the words to the pictures. Some time it's like a Virel video. It recycled over and over again.

I got that. Where calling it a meme came from? I'm really electronically stunted. Some part of me is waiting for it to all collapse, some part is slow to change, and some part is waiting for the day we can't afford internet to come again.

I am lost on a lot of this also. Technology is just rapidly expanding and growing to such an extent , there seems to be a new term invented on a daily basis.
