Hey all, a quick question: how much would this Paradise Estate be worth ? I had it up on Ebay for 65 euros, BIN 110 euros, but it didn't get sold, despite having quite the number of followers during the 10 day offer.

I don't think I'm asking too much, and I'm afraid it's the shipping that puts people off :(

Still, what do you people think ?

Hmm. I've also been wondering how much PE is exactly worth since I've got one that I've had for a while. Mine was $120 (including shipping), and it came with everything except for the combs, the forks, knives, and the spoons so I have a bit of an idea but I'm not positive. I bought it about 2-3 years ago though, so I don't know if it's changed at all.

However, from what I know, I think 65 euros is a good starting bid price for yours, the roofs still have a good color to them, and it comes with quite a bit of furniture. Though If you really wanted to get rid of it, you could lower the buy it now price a little bit. Or you could even lower the auction starting price, and have a reserve so you can attract some people. And I know shipping costs are annoying- PE is so big, which is what makes it so cool, and such a pain sometimes! Maybe if you sell it around Christmas someone will want it enough to pay for the huge shipping cost! :p

I hope that at least helps you out at least a little bit, and that I didn't say too much!

I think it is fair price considering that lots of those has been sold in higher price in ebay..

Thanks for the imput peeps !

I too believe the starting price to be quite fair, and I'd be OK with it being sold for that base price. Heck, Half a P.E. got sold for 90 bucks on Ebay quite recently!

And the pics don't even do justice to the well preserved colors; it's really vibrant and beautiful. I was mostly surprised by the pinkness of the pool's roof though, I've never seen one with its colors so intact than the one I owned as a kid in the 80's.

It is missing a sea pony statue, but I'm sure that can be solved by splitting the remaining one and using both halves separately, for display purpose at least.

But it's the shipping I didn't think of when I bought this at a local flea market. I've got a really big box to ship it in, in case it gets sold, from a neighbour's foldable bike, but even that one isn't enough to hold the four rooms and the pool base. So I might have to ship it in two boxes in the end.

And just like Sweet Tooth suggested, I was thinking of keeping it till the Holidays, but that still doesn't solve my shipping issue LOL
Also, I have the possibility of getting my hands on a MINT P.E. (complete, except for the original box), so if this one get sold sooner, I might get the mint one for a holiday auction.

Good luck finding a buyer. I really want one someday too bad I am far away. :/

Yes I agree its Summer, wait for the holiday season and try again. With the pony fair just ending a lot of people may be taking a pony buying/play set buying break. There is something about the holiday season though. The sales pick up a lot. The shipping cost for PE is something all buyers understand based on location. Its a given. Its a super large play set.
