Pride of your collection/Favorite pony?

For me, I only have one, Wind Whistler. She is my only adult G1 and means a lot to me (Thanks to Ology, she went to an awesome home who fed her batter!)
Here she was when she first arrived

I brushed her hair and gave her a purple bow. Her still pink hair always makes my day :3

Now, for my daughter, its a tough one, but she had to choose for two, McDonalds Starsong and G3.5. ToolaRoola. Now, McStarsong used to be a pretty lady, but now she pretty much falls in the fair category.
Missing symbols, ratted mane and scratched eyes don't stop my daughter to keep on loving her since she was her first pony (And the only one of her 10 Childhood ponies that remain here)
Toola Roola is another story. To make it short, she was the last pony she got before moving and she still has her, near mint with a rub or two.

Now for the question, who is the pride of your collection or favorite pony?

The pride of my collection would be my Argie Christmas pony...

...though there will be a rather awesome pony from the other side of the globe coming to join the herd in the next few weeks

Hmmm. Such the question she is. One of my most beloved would be Minty, who funny enough, was also given to me by Ology (she is the Pony Master!) to replace the one my brother had given me that is long gone. The other would be my childhood Bowtie plushie. My sister Coco gave her a haircut, sadly. She's still gorgeous though. I just love her so.

I don't really own any super valuable ones anymore (thanks, person who stole my herd), but I love every one I own very much!

I don't have any reeeeaaallllyyyyy valuable ones, but I do have a few I am excited to have. Very disappointed my MIP Gingerbread turned out to be slowly dissolving as we speak and I can't do anything about it. But I still love her. My sister gave me a Mimic for Christmas with a few dark spots on her, as well as a very nice Night Glider. However, my most valuable one is a Scandinavian Cupcake. I am Norwegian heritage, my grandparents came from Norway, and the Norwegian pastries are my favorite.

Yep. I was moving and I had a tub of about 200 G1s get nabbed as we were going in and out of the house. I didn't realise it until I was at the new house unpacking. I went over and searched (a friend had taken over the house, so had it been there it would have been safe and sound) but it was gone. I had some neighbours who had quite the reputation as crooks (several of the family were in and out of jail) so I pretty much knew who took them, but couldn't prove it. It was awful. They were my childhood Ponies and my sisters' Ponies they'd given to me after they outgrew them.

Hopefully they ended up with kids that needed them.

Money-wise, I paid the most for my Rapunzel but I don't know that she's worth the most anymore. My most valuable ones are probably some of my Brazilians or Venezuelans, Spain Milky Way, or a few mail orders, but my favorite is probably my childhood Buttons. She was my first pony and she looks rough! She was always the hero pony.

I have several "pride of my collection" ponies - Brazil Milky Way and Bowtie, Spain Milky Way, Indian Bluebelle, Sweet Scoops & charm, MO Sprinkles, the Euro porcelains, Italy CP Sparkler, etc.

Yep. I was moving and I had a tub of about 200 G1s get nabbed as we were going in and out of the house. I didn't realise it until I was at the new house unpacking. I went over and searched (a friend had taken over the house, so had it been there it would have been safe and sound) but it was gone. Oh this is so heartbreaking seriously the worst thing ever. I had some of my childhood toys and a favorite doll in mint condition stolen during a family farm break in. It still upsets me to this day that I can't find my original dollhouse and I really want a MIB version of the doll that was taken also. I don't know if I will ever get those two items and if I did they still won't be mine, but it softens the hurt a little.

This is my little gem. She was a gift from a dear pony friend and very special to me.

Define "pride of the collection" ? Lol. Value? Rarest (no matter what value)? most unusual (in your eyes)? Favorite--sentimental and/or the way it looks? *today*? or a week ago??? heheh.

The pride of my collection, to me, is the one I would show to someone, fan/collector or not, who might ask to see a MLP out of curiosity and interest in my stuff. At the moment, that would be Baby Nightsong, Brown Jenny and Dutch White Star Pony, and rehaired w/ all black hair Baby Paws (whom I couldn't stand with pink hair! but TinySHinyUnique was selling this one that she'd rehaired and I simply melted). I just love looking at them, and they have been sitting on my desk for months now, so it's safe to assume they will continue as the "prides of" for a while.

I don't even know where she is at the moment (or if I even have her still), but one of my favorite ponies would be my G3 Breezie. She was the very first pony that I ever got (aside from the Celebration Castle with Baby Pink Sunsparkle) and I loved her to death. I got her when I was in kindergarten because I got my friend G3 Scootaloo for her 6th birthday, and naturally my mom thought I deserved a prize as well, lol. Like the other Scootin' Along ponies, she came with a little scooter that you could wind up on the floor and it would drive forward a few feet, and I loved putting my other little toys in it as well as my ponies. And of course, I naturally have a soft spot for all of my other childhood ponies, too. Brights Brightly, Precious Gem, Twirlerina, Twinkle Bloom, and Toola Roola #2 are the only childhood ponies that I've been able to relocate so far, but my mom has said that she's seen the others in boxes.

As for my G1 collection, Windy is one of my favorites because she was the first vintage pony that I was able to own. However, the gem of my collection would have to be UK Honeycomb, because she's the only international exclusive pony that I have.

I think probably my most valuable ponies are my twice as fancy baby ponies Baby Sweet Tooth and Baby Dancing Butterflies and my MIB German Show Stable but my *personal* gem is my favorite pony Gypsy. I have a long history of heartache and frustration when it came to getting her so I still love to pull her out of the tub she is packed away in and just look at her.

I feel you. If I could have just one Pony back it would be the Minty my brother Ken gave me. I do so love the one Ology gave me to fill that little gap in my life. To me it's the memories each Pony holds, not necessarily their monetary value.

I feel you too lol. Baby Quackers almost lost Starsong in a move but she managed to get her back inside a box of her brothers' toys in the world record of 5 years lol. But she did lost her original childhood (Intl) Newborn Cutie Cheerilee bath time set she only has the blankie and the pony, but no bathtub.

I just want to open Cheerilee to see how much mildew she has LOL
