A couple customs to post together:
First is another version of the Evil Queen Regina from the t.v. series Once Upon A Time.
This version will be gifted to actress Lana Parilla, who starred the character!
First version of this I made, was signed and photographed with her:
And now, here's the second version that will reside in her home!
Pony base is an engineered pose of generation 3 mlp's. Body of one of the 3-D symbol ones, and the head from a core 7 clone pose.
Full body repaint in custom-blended acrylics. Eyes are also acrylics blended in realism textures.
Mane and tail are both restoredoll hair and dollyhair.
Restoredoll blend of black and brown in a color called "deep cherry".
Dolly hair colors in black magick and hematite.
Permanently styled in my hair gel method.
Outfit is hand-sewn. Ribbon material for the train, corset and arm parts are a blue/black/gold rose pattern of which I stained the gold parts with neon purple acrylics to achieve accurate colors for the fabric.
Burgundy and navy blue materials sewn to the train, accessorized with leaf & apple beads sewn to metallic green chains.
Torso pieces lined in black/white striped ribbon I cut in half and toned down with metallic black acrylics.
Neck collar has a base of navy blue fabric, with folded burgundy with a over-layer of metallic/beaded ribbon which is also used around the front legs.
Symbol is a painted mirror with rhinestones to match the hair accessory. Mirror piece is the back of a rhinestone.
Naturally, after this I found a package of craft mirrors buried at the bottom of my doo-dad drawer.
Second custom I have to post, is a Massive Act of Pony Kindess creation for Simply Steff.
It is of Jem, from the 80's iconic cartoon Jem & The Holograms.
This has arrived to her, so she's no longer a surprise!
Pony base is a generation 3. Originally body color maintained. Eyes painted in acrylics.
Mane and tail are yellow and pink yarn that I unravelled and brushed out.
Outfit hand-sewn, detailed in rhinestones.
