I saw some threads about other collections and dolls but not specifically just for Rainbow High. I've been really into them lately, even more than MLP.
Here's a couple of the most recent photos I've taken of mine

Everyone in green for St. Patrick's Day :clover:

and I just got the townhouse a few days ago.

I'd love to discuss RH and new releases and collecting these with the community here. Anyone else collecting them or have an interest in them?

I like the RH bodies for head swaps. Picked up these cuties last week cause target marked them down to $10 a piece online. The online pickup said they didn't actually have the teal one but I found her hidden on the shelf and they price matched her for me. :]

@The Cleo Collector What a great collection! The Fantastic Fashion girls look great all together, and you've got some really good ones in the house!

@Cozytoyhoard I saw that sale! (That's why I got the house because it was also on sale.) I was so tempted to pick up some of the S3 Shadow High at that price. I love Berrie's theme so much.

I decided I needed some of the furniture pieces that got cut out of this version of the townhouse and bought the shower, stove enclosure and side table off ebay. Also, got Delilah's pants for my Margot to wear so I can start to build out her wardrobe out more. I want to keep her in white and gold I think. She's my newest and needs some more clothes.

Don’t bother with the hot tub it does not work. I got the original house and I never use it.

I don't think I'd use it either. The only other furniture I think I might want now is Skyler's drafting table and chair maybe. I had considered the breakfast bar but now think it'd make the kitchen crowded. I'm kinda liking the openness.

Have you all seen the prototype images of upcoming Winter, Color&Create & Moonbows? I'm interested in seeing the moonbows but the lost articulation of the new dolls is kinda sad. I may want the winter Violet outfit for my Luna depending on how the final product looks.

Kinda intrested in the moonbows but the slim dolls I not that big a fan of. The winter line looks interesting violet outfit was cool till it went from pants to a skirt.
All my shadow high dolls are still in box so seeing different out fit on them is nice.

I Love your collections :) I dont really collect dolls but I own two 1/6 yosd BJD....constantly wondering If the RH clothes would fit them.

They don’t fit my friend yosd size dolls mostly due to the hips and length of them pants wish. Some tops fit thin bjds.

Wow your Luna looks really nice with a bit of green :)
I’ve only got 7 regular size ones and the giant Amaya so not a big collection, but I’ll see if I can get a pic of them later

I'm hoping the pants are the final version and not the skirt. That skirt it awful.

Thanks! Luna was my unexpected addition. I got her on sale because I wanted just her 2nd outfit but she's so cute I couldn't sell her on. She looks great in everything just about I think.
Look forward to seeing you collection!

I don't collect these, but I looove looking at them! The details are amazing <3

Is it just me or does anyone else have a small RH pile of Dolls to Open so bad but they keep them in the box cause they look good.

Whelp, thanks to this thread, I got interested in Rainbow High,
(since I love colours and how they pattern onto personality),
and I ended up with two dolls.

I took a long time to consider this because I never got into fashion dolls as a kid, only fashion itself (and MLP), and I'm not really sure what to do with these guys, but I'll keep them in their boxes. I looked at all of the options, and the only ones I liked had warm brown eyes, and they're not representing colours that are my favourites. I must be missing my mom's tan-brown eyes, is all I can think.

I'll let you guess which girls I ended up with.

I thought maybe I could do my own very (200 years+) old method of conveying high fashion (prior to fashion magazines): having the fashions shipped on dolls, that could be copied into ones own sewing. Because it's interesting how, these dolls seem to be one of the only ways far-flung people can become aware of current fashion style. And it's actually really old.

I am currently fed up with the state of haute couture right now; it's been pretty uninspiring over the last year. and if they aren't doing enough to create a new look, then I must at least try to fill that vacuum for myself.

Sheryl "lemon" Meyer and Rosie Redwood.

Do you make your own outfits for your RH ladies? @Flitter

Nice! Sheryl is one I've been debating over getting. She's really pretty but I'm not sure there's enough clothes I like for her. I think she looks best in black and gold and I'm not really a fan of the color combo either. I don't make any of my RH clothes, I just collect a wardrobe for my dolls from other dolls in the line with the same color scheme. Re-dressing them is a lot of the fun of them for me.

@Flitter
I like the combination of three plaids that Sheryl has been given, and the simplicity of the coat that Rosie comes with:
1. In a way Sheryl is inspired by Reece Witherspoon in Clueless ... especially with those white knee socks, and the blouse whose tails are supposed to hang over the top of the miniskirt. It's very retro 90's. I guess they needed a different colour scheme than the one they gave Sunny and stuck to the black accents.
2. And in a way Rosie's look is what I've been studying as a trend in fashion for this winter: the big fuzzy coat (of fur, faux fur, or of looped yarn) with a sheath underneath. Only her sheath isn't transparent like this season's thing. Which I don't really like, but I like how Rosie's coat is reminiscent of the embroidered shearling coats that came out of Afghanistan in the 60's back when hippies were travelling along the old highway into India.

But I may be taking them out of their boxes and making fashions for them, patterning them off of their base outfits.
There are patterns on-line for sale, and original design dolls' clothes online for sale on-line, but ... why do that when you can dream up your own? right? hmm.

I have spotted various vendors who, all they do is buy the dolls then sell their outfits separately, just for people who only want those for their other dolls, like yourself. I suppose there's lots of nude dolls for sale as a result, and I can go after them in the future! This better not get out of hand!

@AutumnRoan Sheryl is definitely inspired by Cher from Clueless in both outfits and her name. I think her official color is Marigold.
Rosie's coat is amazing and I love the cherry print inside it as well. If I ever get a red doll I really want it. I have Harley's coat which is similar but not the same.

I'm one of those who buys dolls just for the outfits. I have a box of nude dolls that needs to get sold  I'm trying to buy individual pieces off mercari more but sometimes the cost of 2 pieces from the same doll ends up the same price as the whole doll.

Anyway, here's some pics I took of Luna for Eclipse Day :coolpony:
