Rainbow Ponies Rerelease

Ok, so I have a windy I bought with a pile of other g1s, but she is almost too good to be true. She's flawless. So I started thinking, maybe she's not an original, maybe she's one of the rereleases. Can any one clarify for me how to look for differences between the originals and the collectors rereleases? I can easily tell the difference in the Original 6, but since I never owned the rainbow ponies rerelease sets I have no clue what to look for.

i am pretty sure they have kind of weird eyes, like thinner lines. also i think she is darker or just a different shade of purpleish. and i don't remember... but i THINK they have a different date on their legs, but i am not 100% sure on that. all i know their eyes are odd

well if the date thing is actually true, than I just have a mint condition windy on my hands.... kinda want to keep her now lol.

Yes I know I am asking alot for her, but I am not willing to let her go easily lol. She's just so freakin pretty, she's even in better condition than my own >.<

She is the 80s version, but IMO NOT worth anything near $38!


Finding a Purple one can certainly be a HUGE challenge!

Also, she's not mint. She's missing a hairplug. That's Near Mint, but not mint.

yep, that would be why her title and description says near mint, the original post here was before I listed her and inspected her hair o find the plug.
