I found this girl on ebay. She was in pretty sorry shape but looked fixable, so I took a chance. It turns out that the seller lives in the same town so she let me pick her up to save on shipping. It took several days, a boil in OxiClean and a lot of patience, but she was worth it!

Great job! I love the feeling when you get an ok looking pony in a bait lot etc. & can make them look new again <3

Fancy baby! Right-on! Lookin' divine cute, awww..

Wow, she looks great! Congrats! :)

very nice, gives me hope for some of my damaged beauties. Great job!!!

She looks great now!! Oxy stuff is pretty great! Did it change her hair any? I stuck a couple of deflocks in hot oxy water and their hair seems different now--not *bad*, not cleaner lol, but different, seems thicker/heavier or something. Weird! Baby Crumpet is a DOLL, I love her and you did a fantastic job!!!

Oh man, I gotsta get me some of that Oxy-clean if it works that well. I think that little girl has you to thank for taking a chance on her. She looks fabulous again!

Did the oxy boil get the dirt out of her hair plugs? I'm curious because I have a sea pony that needs some help with that problem.

She looks FAB by the way!! Just lovely!

To be honest I am not sure how much The OxiClean helped her mold, but it did get the dirt out of her hair plugs. I used a toothbrush to really get them clean. I had to clean her insides out from the tail washer and there was mold in there too. The Oxi got that all taken care of, but the pindot required lots of elbow grease. I used the hot water and fingernail technique in the tutorials and it worked really well. The Oxi boil did not affect her mane, but her tail was removed beforehand. Of course I did lose the curl she had, but it was worth it!

How WONDERFUL!!! I cringed when I saw her before pictures. You did a fantastic job on her. She's one of my favorite G1 babies!!! LOVE HER!! :heart1:

WoW what a difference! How did you do the oxy boil? I have a newborn twin Rattles that have little black dots all over her (think its called smooze) I want to give it a try and see if the boil will save her...

Great job on her:eek:k:
