Recently I got a new pony with a realistic barn smell ~

I asked a friend to take a peek for ponies for me at a flea market and he found a whole table of G1s! He grabbed an Applejack for me from the vendor. No haircut, her cutie mark is looking great, no tail rust, but I just can't get the smell out of her hair.

I've tried dish soap, the unscented soap and fabric softener I often use on my G4s, and laundry detergent.

I've only ever collected G4s and kept a few G3s from childhood, so I'm not sure how fragile a much older pony would be, and what methods are safe for her body and symbols?

Wash hair with good smelling shampoo and conditioner. Air her out by the window till the scent goes away.

i wash them with shampoo, then conditioner.. then place her in a box that is covered with a dryer sheet. normally when the hair dries it will take in the dryer sheet smell.. sometimes i have to do it more then once.

I prepare a bowl with hot water, put the pony inside and add Vanish Oxiclean (one cup). Then I leave the pony fo more than 4 hours there. I was able to make all the ponys smell nice with that! And also it helps with the hair looking more colorful, it makes the hair vivid again.
