My Lemon Treats has the worst case of frizz I've ever seen in my life. What kind of products do you guys use for severe frizz because mine just aren't working with her.

Some of mine I gave up on making their hair soft and styled their hair into big curls instead. I used baby wipes to wet it down and then twisted the hair into tight buns and let the hair set overnight. It's not perfect, but it they look much better on display.

You can use a flat iron on the lowest possible setting to make her hair smoother. Wet her hair, put in a lot of conditioner, divide her hair into sections, and quickly run each section through the flat iron. It does make a bit of a mess, but her hair will definitely look smoother afterward, although it may not make her perfect, depending on how bad the frizz is. Just be careful not to over-iron, because it'll make her hair frizz up again, and it won't get any better. Oh, and make sure you're super careful doing this, because, obviously, plastic melts.

MayCrestMom was recently telling me how some folks are using products for nylon wigs. I'd love to see some of the results from this if anyone tries it. It makes so much sense.

On a more tested note, try leaving conditioner in for an extended period before rinsing it out. The length it's left in seems to make a difference.

Thanks guys, I'll attempt all these things in order from the least hardcore to the most hardcore. I'll share my results as well!

I have used fabric sofeener on some of my g3 ponies which did seem to smooth them down with milder frizz but the extreme i have on my g3 peach suprize just doesn't seem to want to coperate i have just plaited it now and turned her into a kinda 80's perm look haha:smilepony:

I have used some conditioner designed specifically for artificial hair on my ponies and it didn't make much of a difference :(

I agree with those who say after a good conditioning curl it! Some nice curled hair will help disguise the issue enough for your pony to look pretty on display. Also, I've found the texture of the frizz helps hold the curl better :winkpony:

Nylon hair is relatively heat tolerant, flat ironing with lots of conditioner or carefully straightening it with boiled water dips both work.

May not get back to 100% smooth, but it does tame the frizz a lot.

I found soaking in neat fabric softener worked well as well.

I would leave a pony soaking their hair, balanced upsidedown overnight in two pools of it.

I've used a clothes iron on pony and Barbie hair before (with a damp cotton cloth over the hair and the iron on a low setting). Some barbie collectors I know use the stuff that restore shine to vinyl upholstery in cars (on vintage dolls too) and one used a skin moisturiser. I tried that but it was really hard to wash out. Good luck!

I had a couple G1 babies with such bad frizz and mess that they appeared to have one large poofy dread lock as their mane/tail :/ horrible. Well, I did the boil dip trick, a couple times, then I used frizz tame conditioner and left it in for evvvverrrrrr and well, it wasn't perfect, but it brushes through now and only the very very tips are semi frizzy, so I'd say it worked great over all.
