My phone is giving me a lot of trouble, so I transferred all my photos and videos to my computer. many of them became rotated, and now when I put them back on my phone, they are still rotated. No big deal for photos, but how can I fix the videos? Help! I have some very special videos and I'm worried about this. :(

Did you take photos and videos from and iphone and load them on a Microsoft computer? The problem is Apple doesnt keep the information when you flip your phone around when taking photos and videos. I think that is the issue, its hard to explain. I think you need something like Picasa so that you can re flip them right side up. Android and microsoft cant do it. If you have transferred apple to mac that would have prevented the issue. I have never used Picasa only heard you are supposed to be able to flip with it. There are probably other software out there to fix this. Check the web if you want. I dont know a lot about apple, only that it seems like they have the oddest issues sometimes and don't always transfer well to microsoft.

I just found this.

Thanks for your response! No, I don't have an iphone. It's a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (android), and my computer is a pc. Android and microsoft can't rotate videos? Hmm... they must be able to, especially if they rotated the video wrong in the first place. I will keep looking into this.... fingers crossed!

Ok that is weird, but that software will still help you reflip them, but maybe a software you have on your computer will do it also.
