Shopping Cart Fun! XD

Unlike most supermarkets, our AH (Albert Heijn, a supermarket) has new, incredibly ugly, blue, plastic shopping carts. However, they do have one special feature... A kiddie seat for ponies! :mrgreen: (If anyone knows a better translation for "kinderzitje", feel free to let me know... XD )


Anyway, they're supposed to be coffee cup holders, but they're perfect for a baby pony! Baby Sugarberry is always coming with us, everywhere we go. I discovered the "seat" when I had to put her somewhere for a moment to grab some desserts, LOL! :mrgreen:

LOL, I can imagine! Luckily she's always somewhere we can see her, in the picture it does look like someone could just grab her, but we always keep an eye on her! XD
 
That's so cute!!!!

I wish we has cool shopping trollies with cup holders - sipping a coffee while walking around Sainsbury's might make the experience less harrowing!!!! (can't imagine it catching on in North London, though :angel:) xxx
 
That's cute. I would be too scared to take that pony out with me. I'd be so mad at me if I lost her. lol

Actually, yes! Not so much in stores, but it happens a lot on the train. Baby Sugarberry always gets her own seat (except when it's crowded on the train, we taught her to offer her seat to elderly people, always! :mrgreen: ), and we get a lot of comments! People ask if she's going with us everywhere we go, or if we collect "toy horsies", and we get a lot of big smiles too!
People often say that if you're walking a dog, you always attract people's attention and they find it easier to start a conversation with you. Well, I can honestly say that it goes for little ponies as well! XD

Aww, that's so adorable! I used to let my ponies ride in the kids' seat on our shopping trolleys, until some kid attempted to steal Hopscotch. o_0 Fortunately I got her back, but I never risked it again.

If only Tesco would introduce proper pony seats like your local supermarkets though, I might be tempted to start taking my ponies out again. Honestly, what is this country coming to? They don't even consider making life easier for us My Little Pony mummies when our 'children' demand to go grocery shopping with us! Tsk tsk! :lol:
 
I agree, there should more facilities for ponies! XD
