I just found her at a thrift store, needs new batteries, but appears to work. Thing is, she is disgustingly dirty. Absolutely filthy. I was wondering, how can I clean her? Her face is rubbery, and she is mechanical, so I don't want to ruin her... but wow, she is gross. I gave her a quick wipe-down with a Lysol wipe... when I was done, it was brown! And she is still quite dirty. Her hair is in sad condition, too.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Magic Eraser FTW! You don't need it to be very wet so you can scrub most of her grime off with it without worrying about her getting submerged. For the hair, try a spray-on or waterless shampoo and some leave in conditioner (because her hair is really cottony and fine), then after brushing carefully rinse any residue without letting the water get inside her. I used the faucet in the bathtub on low, and had Mr. Skeen hold the pony so I could concentrate only on the hair. :)

Yeah, that rubbery face cleans up so well with the magic eraser. It also gets dirty just a fast if little kids play with it, it seems to attract dirt.
