Obviously for pony collectors we have the trading post and the arena. A lot of people on here collect more than one thing, so it got me thinking what other toy collecting sites are around? I am curious if you go to just the trading post... or do you guys go to other sites as well?

I am a member of the modelhorselovers site and the tfw2005 site

Den Of Angels a BJD website
Monster High Dolls.com
lalaloopsy Fan Club
I am also a member of a Paranormal bored where you can adopt or trade Haunted items.

Very neat! I am not familiar with either one of those sites, so I will have to check them out :)

The Paranormal one sounds interesting... have you ever inherited a haunted item? :surprisepony:

Lol! I am the proud guardian of 9 spirit kids and a few haunted artifacts. So yeah I have a few.

For forums this is pretty much it for me.

I'm on Facebook and deviantArt as my mainstays still

oh yea Deviantart for me too and TFW2005 but I have not been on tfw in over a year.

I just use MLP Arena and the TP, basically. The Arena suits my other collections well enough since we have the Dollhouse. I tried a few other doll forums over the years and none of them ever worked out. I was on the Monster High Arena for a while but MH isn't my focus anymore and I didn't like the buy-buy-buy attitude of a lot of threads. I also have an Instagram where I post all my toys. I mostly follow American Girl focused accounts since the only AG forums that exist either don't have any focus on what I like (photography) or are silently locking out new members :/

I'm in a handful of doll Facebook groups but I haven't posted in any of them yet. I avoid the big name doll groups (MH, AG, EAH, etc) and mostly stick to the vintage/antique focused ones. Less drama that way!

Oh girl let me tell you that the vintage doll groups are full of very nasty older ladies that will be so nice in the beginning and then boom you are a target. Blaaaaaaaaa There is a lot of unexpected drama in these groups. They are a great place to get information though on the older dolls, but boy oh boy if you get stuck in the middle of a mess you will become a french fry over night. No way to redeem yourself. I will carry my shield and we will tip toe in. By the way have you mastered the cloaking device?

I though about wanting to go on vintage doll forums but was scared to. Now I am going to stay in my nice safe haunted house and not go near there.

Wow, guys I had no idea it was like that! I've always been curious about other sites for different toy collections... at least now I know which ones to stay away from lol

@cutekitten All communities have bad eggs, no matter if the focus is Jello molds or DnD or 80 year old dolls! Humans are just mean, nasty creatures and some will always be rude, talk behind peoples' backs, etc. Tumblr is especially bad for drama since there's no moderating at all on the site. There are tons of hate, bullying, and "confession" (AKA be rude about other people) blogs for anything and everything.

Precisely why I've made myself comfortable with isolating myself. I'm not close buds with anyone. Don't personal message anyone frequently

I really should give myself the proper motivation to be more active on Instagram, social media is all the rage for getting traffic on my sales posts apparently

I joined Pinterest but lost interest almost as soon as I registered xD and I joined a couple FiM forums but I don't think my customs will gain any recognition unless I stick strictly to generation 4 ponies as well as FiM characters, and.... I don't care for them all too much to be honest....
