So excited about my G1 pony find...

I found these ponies in two different parts of an antique store. One booth had a few marked at a dollar each but was having a sale and I got those for 80 cents. The other booth had some marked at 50 cents and I got those for 40 cents. I was so excited to find such fun ponies and I didn't have any of these since I am new to collecting G1. It was a fun day. They are not without a few playwear issues but they really are nice considering that. I also found 4 poseable carebears but sadly I left them there by accident and have to pick them back up LOL. They forgot to put them with my ponies. Oh and we found a G3 Rainbow Wishes Amusement park, but its missing the hook like things on the ferris wheel that hold the ponies for a ride. I have a need for those now. So if you have those drop me a line.

Wow, that is way cool. Yah I agree that that is cheap for an antique store. I may have one or two of those hooks lying around if you are interested I can dig them out.

That's a great looking bunch of ponies you got there, congrats! The antique shop my mom goes to for me in her home city sells ponies for way too much no matter what condition the ponies are in. Example: A baity Sundance for $12. I think the owners must be thinking to themselves, "Oh, these are old vintage toys that aren't made anymore, I can charge a ton." Lol!

Wow. SS Buttons and Blue Hearts Dazzle Glow can be $20 each, so if you paid less than a dollar each for them, then you got a fantastic deal! Congrats on all your G1 goodness!

Yes I am really surprised they were marked so low. I guess some people just don't view them as that collectible. I was thrilled to get some ponies so low in price. It was a huge deal and I hope it happens again soon. LOL
