My MLP wallpaper border arrived today! I somehow managed to talk my amazing husband into letting me paint and wallpaper our dining room with an MLP theme. (All of my curios and shelves that house my collection are in there.) Honestly it started off as a joke when we had family over a few weeks ago. I had just found the border online and made the statement that I planned to buy it and make over the dining room. Of course my husband said no way, but I guess deep down he didn't mind. After some thought, I imagined ways I could do it without going over the top. I decided that using the border in the middle of the wall as a sort of chair rail dividing the two colors (off white on top and a shade of pink on the bottom) was the way to go. Now I just have to decide what shade of pink to use. I don't want to go crazy, just a pretty pale pink. The border has so many lovely colors though, I don't know how I will decide! I cannot wait to paint over this country blue, I won't miss it one bit!!

instead of pink paint a very light pale yellow could be cute...

I have my heart set on pink, I just hope it's not too much. Not like all the curios, ponies on window sills and above doorways isn't enough to frighten guests! All I know is that blue is definitely out, I am sooooo sick of the color that it is now. My mom wants to make a table runner to match, but MLP fabric is impossible to find now. I wish that I had bought it when I found it years ago, oh well!

A pony theme?? So rock-on, you know it! That room will be as pretty as can be, awww..excellence..
