I haven't been on in a while due to wrapping up my senior year of high school-- arranging scholarships and college has been really time-consuming! So I have a couple brags I figured I'd show.

In April, I walked into my usual Goodwill ten minutes before closing, sped to the toy isle frantically... they were closing early that day for inventory or something, when suddenly I noticed a big bag of mcdonalds toys that had hair. It was pink and from an angle it looked like it was a purple fakie. the bag was kind of ripped, and I turned it, and what did I see peeking out at me but...

Quackers! The purple and pink pony was Romper, and then Baby Flicker was in the corner! I was so excited, took the bag up and paid $5 for the three. Romper is beautiful. Just beautiful. Totally pink AND factory curl. Quacker is an upgrade, and baby Flicker is just too cute. She ended up going on my senior trip to Washington DC.

Here she is in front of the USDA. :p

Then came my Senior Prom... which you would not think would be pony-related... I went with my boyfriend of two years. I was kind of stressed out before the whole thing because I hate having my hair done. I felt silly, and drove home absolutely freaked because I was half an hour late. There was my boy in his suit sitting on the couch with my little brother and grandma, and I wasn't ready yet.. eventually he calmed me down enough to give me a corsage, and handed me a box with a beautiful flower set and a little baby pony hidden in it! Baby Tappy! He bought her from a vintage toy shop and tried to have her put IN the corsage, but misjudged the size in comparison to my wrist. Actually the whole corsage was rather large, but I have teeny wrists.

Here's baby Tappy on our prom table. The decorations were absolutely hideous. I have no idea why there is a decapitated old lady. It was pretty stupid looking.

Then yesterday I went to the flea market! It had been rather unsuccessful of recent, I went with a friend only to come out with a Nanco Cherryblossom plush and a crumpet-pose fakie. However yesterday it was about a zillion-ty degrees out, so all the outdoor vendors were out. I went with my family, and didn't even get to all of the booths before they wanted to leave.
I passed up: Royal Bouquet (clone pose), Island Delight, Triple Treat, that family dollar strawberry G3 (have them all already.)

And here's what I got!

Start with the commons first. While walking to the car, I looked down and on the ground was a plastic bag.. containing a Windy, Moondancer, and a fakie! Windy is a prettier color than mine, but she has brown stains across one side and a tailcut. Moondancer is definite bait. Don't know what I'll do with the fakie... give it to a little girl or something.

There was a price on the bag I guess, but it had faded in the sun, or wiped off, or something. The lady at the booth shrugged at me and told me "a dollar. Right now, it's just less stuff to pack up." So I handed it over eagerly!
Also in the picture is Pokemon Snap-- got that for $3!

Then while walking by some childrens toys, my eyes were wandering booths.. I looked down and there was a tiny basket of mcd toys. One McD pony (minty) and a BABY STAR EMBER! Homg. I had looked for her for-ever, until Mimm sent me one. This one is absolutely perfect. Snapped her up for 50 cents!

They're twins! I love both of them, so much. I feel so lucky to not just have one, but two amazing little star embers.

Then this was rather neat-- did you spot it in the group pic? I found a vendor with a TON of mcdonalds toys in bags and boxes. Found some odd stuff. He looked at me, and told be that the barbies were in a certain box. I explained I was more into ponies, and he said "oh I have a box somewhere..." after looking and having got my hopes up, he explained that he must have left it at home.

Disappointed I looked through his pokemon toys. He wanted $1 a piece. Way too much.

Then I found this, which is possibly one of my neatest little finds ever. Sold it to me for 50 cents.
