Soup, anyone?

I made this custom for a friend who's been under the weather for a long time now, in hopes that it might cheer her up and at least make her smile a bit. The pony was Desert Rose, and I used hair from Dollyhair to rehair her. I used apoxie to sculpt the symbol. The middle stripe of her hair is silver, but it's hard to see in the photos.

That is soo cool, it is so simple but so awesome in its simpleness. I love it! If that doesn't put a smile on her face.....

Yaaaay, soup pony <3 I was thinking about posting her in Show & Tell (to the tune of "JEWEL. This is not a 'Christmas card'!") but since I found this... hey everybody, Jewel is amazing. <3 :p I've been sick for a while and this really cheered me up. I've been feeling so much better lately... must be pony magic. :)

I love her, as you know ;) I think you should get back into customs when you find the time/inspiration.. her symbol is so well done! <3 I thought it was a miniature at first. She's so pretty! <3 You're too sweet!! -showers you with hearts- <3<3<3 Thank yoooou!! <3<3<3

I love this pony! it's adorable! i remember in 5th grade trying to draw campbell's soup cans to look like an Andy Warhol picture, lol

Aww I heart you so much Wynd! You've very welcome. *smush* And was there not a Christmas card included? I rest my case! :santa4: Never underestimate the Jewel-ninja! Hyah! ;)

I actually have a few more customs to post, but this one is by far my favorite. I'm glad she got to you safely! I'm just tickled that you're so happy with her. Here's to a new year and renewed health! *hugs*

After many valiant attempts, I resorted to taking a label image and editing it, then printing it out and sealing it to the sculpted can. I'm near-sighted with astigmatism (not to mention carpal and ulnar tunnel syndrome), and that detail would have driven me absolutely batty, lol. Plus, I like the more "factory" look the print gave it. In the end, it works. :)

Thanks! :) I'm really drawn to simple customs, I think. I don't like things that are too ornamented or busy. This one was meant to be simple, sweet, and to the point.

I love tomato soup with grilled cheese! Hmm, maybe Grilled Cheese pony isn't too far out there, hehe. And thanks!

I remember those! I like what he did with the soup cans too. Really cool pop art!

Wynd, Pony magic is the best kind of magic ^_~

And I must join in the choirs of Jewel is AWESOME! Tomato soup is the best soup around! Biases aside XD The hairing job looks awesome, and the can is just crazy detailed. She's looks good enough to eat :3
 
Adorable. Seriously. Love the hair. So vibrant. The blue eye is such a nice contrast with the white, reds and silver otherwise.

Such a sweet 'feel better' pony. :)
