Stolen pony collection in Texas--how to identify and help get them back

This breaks my heart to think how she must be feeling. If someone took and threw away my childhood things like that it would just crush me. I can't believe he did that. I think all of us can certainly keep a look out for these..maybe even ask sellers on ebay about the initials on the bottoms of the hooves. I hope we can find them all for her. I kind of wish they had made a list of the ones she lost so if no one finds the originals..I am sure people would donate to the cause as well.

That makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.

The markings she used are brilliant and will certainly aid in getting her collection back. I'll keep my eye out for sure.


ETA: One can search by zip code in the advanced search option on eBay. I just checked both zips but did not see anything.

I certainly hope they can get them back! Being angry is no excuse for being a jerk and doing something like that. :mad:

Wow, I knew that zip sounded familiar, just mapquested it and it's not too far from me =/ Nothing on craigslist though.

This breaks my heart. I lost my own pony collection 16 years ago (My parents still think SOMEDAY that box will 'turn up'.). It wasn't until I got into collecting the new ponies that I was able to use e-bay and pony sites to remember each of my Ponies that was lost.

I'm keeping an eye on ebay auctions while I'm there, I just hope that she can get hers back. :(
 
:surprise:Why would someone want to throw something like that way? That just doesn't make sense... how horrible... if I ever find a pony with that written on it I sure will return it.
 
Oh how HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! I would be furious!!!!!!!! I'll try to keep an eye out as well! This makes me soooooooo angry!!!! My entire family and closest friends know about my collection and if any one of them took it, I think I would sue them for reimbursement if they didn't pay me their worth!

To get at least one back. I. Can't believe how cruel people can be.
 
they should check antique shops and thrift stores. also she shouldn't have told that lady not to come back, she should have just called the cops on her in the first place, then she probably would have given in. if you KNOW which lady took the box of ponies, why let her get away!? i hope they get the ponies back, but why let that lady get away if she has them?!?!

All of my rage... so many hateful people in this story, ugh! Hope she can get her ponies back!
 
That is... Just despicable...!

In the off chance, I'll happily send all and any ponies of hers back to her. And if she recalls any of the ponies she had by name or design, I'd be happy to send said pony to her if I have it.

Nothing's worse than family taking out their anger on you, and your loved ones...

Has anyone written the seller on ebay with the 33 ponies to make sure they are not part of this? I have not done it yet because, I didn't want to upset the seller if she has already been asked about writing on the bottoms of the feet. Didn't want to cause any problems, but this was brought up somewhere else and because its in Texas...should we find out about writing on the hooves?
