Ok well you guys remember a few months ago when I spent 6 weeks waiting for a package of ponies from Canada to arrive (evil Canadian postal service). Well in it was a Styling Pinkie PIe. I was excited to get it cause it was the only Styling pony I was missing, but when I saw it I was disapointed...she was all marked up and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the marks off.
I was going to make her into a Styling Kya, thinking I could cover the marks with her patterning and some wings, but I had no hair so she's been sitting in my bait box for months. All sad and marked up.
This week though I came to a realization: I can't sculpt dragon wings the way I want on her. And her patterning wouldn't hide all of it, so what could I do?
Then I found the best color paint EVER! AppleBarrel's "Victorian Green" because.... IT'S MINTY GREEN!!!
So sad PinkiePie became Minty!
She took several coats but it was worth it; my sister came home on Sunday and saw it for the first time and thought I bought her that way ^^. So yeah, fully repainted and sealed. She's reooted with Pinkie's original hair since it's the right color; looks so different tinsel-less.
So yeah, started painting her Friday, finished her reroot Monday.
I love her ^^ She is awesome and looks so factory. I love Minty ^^ Now when Xmas comes around I can knitt her a hat and socks just like I did for Rarity ^^
