Re-using this thread since I don't want to have a million threads in here:

I have beheaded Pinkie Pie and de-rusted the tail, now I can't get her tail back in! How do you people do it?

what i do, is look for a small hole in the glue and take and expo and run it along the seem of the neck until i can pop out head with no problem. once your able to bend the head and the plug starts to come out you'll have no problem pulling through the rest of glue.

Thank you! I will go try again.

P.S. I see you're at Minot AFB... my friend's husband was stationed there earlier this year. Small world!

:) my husband is stationed here, i'm just along for this sad ride :(

I hold the tail clamp with my hemostats and just start cramming, lol!

Have you taken all the metal pieces off and is the tail still loose (not tied, clamped, or zip-tied double again)? If the tail is loose, you can tie one end of a length of ribbon in the middle of the tail, put the untied ribbon-end in the tail hole and feed the ribbon in until you see it through the neck hole. Take tweezers or needlenose pliers and pull the ribbon until the tied part of the tail is slightly out of the neck hole but the end of the tail is still outside of the tail hole. I use plastic zip strips to secure pony tails. Take the ribbon off the tail and put a zip strip in it's place, then put another around the tail to keep it doubled up. Clip off the excess plastic of the zip strip. Take the end of the tail (the part sticking out of the tail hole) and gently pull it until you can't anymore. Your tail should now be secured.

If the tail is clamped by the metal piece, what Skeen suggested works well.

I take some thread or dental floss, anything strong and loop it through the tail hole and out the neck. Then I thread the tail hair through the thread and pull it in. I use plastic zip ties to fasten the tail instead of metal clamps. That way there won't be tail rust in the future.

Good luck.

You can also use plastic washers, which can be found at home depot. I use one of those, and one of the zip ties.
