G1 Tell me your favorite line/gimmick and why you love it!

I’ll go first! My favorites are the Big Brother ponies (because I like their wide, rectangular bodies and boyish symbols), the Sweetheart Sister ponies (because they remind me of my own sister lol), and the Newborn Baby ponies (because I like their stubby legs and big eyes), what are your favorites?
 
I love the teeny tiny babies! They make me happy and I smile every time I hold one. I also love the twinkle eyes and the Rockin'Beats collection.
 
I like super long hair and twice as fancy… closely followed by twinkle eyes and glitter bodies. Why? Long hair is fun to brush and style, twice as many symbols is twice as fun, twinkle eyes and glitter =sparkly! I do love the feathered hooves and big brother bodies, too!

I love the Soda Sippin' ponies! :D only two of them made, but its such a clever idea with the beads in the straw! :D I also love the Sparkle ponies, Glow N' Show ponies, and Sweetberry scented ponies. Happy tails are really cute too, i just love pony gimmicksin general. OH! Edit, forgot to say why haha. I feel like they just dont make those types of fun gimmicks anymore. They especially wouldnt make the soda sippin ponies anymore due to small parts. Theyre so different and fun.
 
Definitely the Sweetheart Sisters (especially Glittery) and Colorswirl ponies! There are so many good gimmicks for G1 though! I have like a whole list of the ones I'd like to collect, although I actually might need to add more to it, but those are definitely the big two.

I am a huge fan of G2 ponies since that was my first gen, and Sweetheart Sisters are like a blockier, more mature version of them (with those fabulous TaF-style glitter marks!) - which to me is perfect! You'll find a mix of dynamic blocky shapes in with organic shapes in my own art style, and the Sweetheart Sisters are similar to that for me. The colorswirl ponies are just hecka unique, I've always found them fascinating and the fact that there's only three designs of them makes them even more special.

In both cases it was a huge deal for me when I found out these ponies were real, too haha.

Oh no :shock: I didn’t even notice the g1 before the title!!
Haha, um I meant so soft ponys cause they’re fun to pet!

I love the feathered hooves on the Big Brother ponies but I think the rearing pose of Truly is one of my favorite things. I'm obsessed with the stands. I buy them whenever I can find one.
 
A really mint-condition so-soft pony just melts me. And I'm a huge fan of the Perfume Puffs. When they're clean and groomed, their fluffy hair is so cozy. I still have my childhood Dainty Dahlia, and I took good care of her so she still has her colors and scent, which is super nostalgic for me.

Summer and Windy wing ponies, though.. be still my heart <3 They have the most graceful, precious little sculpts.
