The 2010 Maryland Meet Custom Contest... customs

Here they are. Granted the individual artists are posting them as well, but here they are in all their glory.

The first place winner, Kar Red Roses' custom So Soft Baby Medusa from Greek mythology.. and yes.. that's a stone baby stuck in the snakes.

The next one is Whippetluv's custom.. a dragon from Chinese. She tied in second place.

The next one is Willow's custom, Iris, the rainbow goddess from Greek mythology. She tied in second with Whippet

The next one is Lunamadison's custom. I believe it was a Siren.. beating.. something up >.> *forgot* From Greek, I believe. She tied for third.

The next one is Apollo from Greek mythology. It was another one made by Willow and she was the one that tied for third. Go Willow :D

Coming into a tie for fourth place was this one. It's Mafdet from Egyptian mythology, made by RoseRebellion

Taking fourth alongside her was the next one. This one was called Glaucus, who is Athena's owl, from Greek Mythology. He was made by Ristvak.

And taking the final spot was Rowdy_Cowgirl's custom, the Azure dragon from Chinese mythology.

I just wanted to say that everyone did a wonderful job on their customs this year. It was a super close race, as you can tell with all the ties!
 
Ristvak, I would be happy to take that cutie off your hands. :)
 
Still deciding... he /is/ my first entry into a Meet contest after all... Meh, I'll let you know in the next week XD
His eyes do glow in the dark though...

Wow they are all incredible!!! I like the last one and the chinese dog the best. They are all so awesome!!!
 
I can not believe this, no pony of Aztec culture! why???i expect to see any.
Anyway the customs of the contest are beautiful, my favorite it´s the dragon, wow such a wonderful pony, congratulations to all of the customizers

I had planned on *attempting* to do one of Xolotl... but between time and skill level (lack thereof, on both of those lol) he remains but a handful of printouts from the internet and one bait Seashell-in-a-box. So, the intent was there. The custom that never was, as it were.:)

All the customs that were on the table were so lovely/cute/horrifying (as per each creature's mythology)!

Ristvak if you to let that little one go, you can pass me up & let someone else have it.
I dont want to be greedy, since I already own Chinese Foo dog/Kirin made by Whipp. :p

:lol: I think CC may have beat you to it, she asked me last night if she was for sale.

I loved this years theme so much! I had a lot of fun creating my customs.
Congrats to everyone, they were all great!

I love all the custom entries. I completely forgot to take a pic so I'm stealin someone elses LOL
