Today, I went to a great car boot sale. I had been there once before, last year, and had bought eight G3s, which is the most I've ever found at any car boot sale. This time, it was even better!!
Here's what I bought:
- three G1s
- one G3 and one G3 McDonalds pony
- a very interesting G1 carousel fakie - Does anyone know more about those? I'd never seen one before. It's in G1 mould, and the eyes strangely remind me of Princess Rinse'n'Spit.
- one G1 Plushie
- a cute little Care Bear, who will sit on my desk at work (I work in customer service, so I figure it can be a Customer Care Bear!)
- three Peppermint Rose dolls, complete with clothes and hats! I hardly know anything about those dolls (just enough to recognise them for what they were), and I'm not sure I'll keep them, but I couldn't leave them behind.
There was some stuff that I did leave behind, though, mainly G3s if the price wasn't right. One professional seller also had a very poor Lemon Drop, but I knew her prices are way too high, and Lemon Drop was in such a bad state she'd have never cleaned up. I also saw two vintage Care Bear Plushies, but they were in an even worse state than Lemon Drop, so I didn't take them. And anothe professional seller had a little box of Care Bear posables, but she wanted 2GBP each, and I wasn't sure how much they are worth, especially given that they were in pretty bad condition.
All in all, it was a lovely morning, and I spend... Does anyone feel like taking a guess?
