The Family That Plays Together

Lately I've been doing a lot of pony drawings and sketches. I never used to draw ponies very much, but I've fallen in love with the ponysonas that my husband and I recently created for ourselves and our daughter. This is my latest colored illustration. It features our ponyfied family enjoying our favorite shared hobby.

I drew this piece in graphite on paper and hand-inked the lineart. It was colored in Photoshop CS5.

I love how you drew the little toys. It's also fun to be able to recognize them! Unlike if you see ponies in some comics - they're usually generic and not any particular ponies, rather just something that resembles a pony. Here, I see all my favourites. Your daughter's pony persona looks extra adorable here - wonderful work with the pose and expression!
