Recently I was looking into some 80s my little pony cassette tapes and recalled the existence of a tape that I had been curious about for a while. The tape in question was called the my little pony song tape, It is dated 1986 and may of been made in-house by hasbro. the only evidence I could find, and what brought it to my attention was a single image from a eBay listing which appears to be long gone.
Unfortunately I can't find anything about what is on the tape, It could just contain the same audio as the mlp picture disc or could possibly contain original songs. Some evidence for the picture disc theory is the fact the the website my little wiki states that there was a cassette version but I cannot find any souses that prove that, and the artwork used on the case is the same artwork used on the B side of the picture disc. On the other hand the company Bullseye music who are credited on the picture disc does not seem to appear on the tapes box. I also can't seem to find and advertisements concerning it. Any more information would be greatly appreciated .
