I was parusing the ponies for sale on Etsy, which I am apt to do every now and then looking for a new G1 pony at a good price. Still kicking myself for not snatching up that Clipper for $15. Just got a SS Gusty for $4 though. Tonight I found... bodies. Just bodies. A whole group of them for sale. Some were $10. Oooookaaaay... Example:

I saw those. There was some weird excuse about the heads not being in good enough to sell, so they were removed. I wanna know how you get bodies in such great shape, but with heads mangled beyond repair.

Maybe they were made into Pony Jewelry . Who knows. *Shrugs*

I also saw these as I snoop around etsy often. It's very very strange! Almost eerie...
 
Boy I tell you what people will make something out of just about everything. Its very sad to me that they would do this to a pony, but artistic people have these visions beyond the item..and since most likely the item itself has no appeal to them..they are expressing their vision with the head..then it means something. To me...that is just not what I want hanging around my neck. Its too odd for me. Its right up there with people putting old doll heads on sticks in their gardens as ornaments. Its a toy no no for me. Nope crossing the line....lol
 
they quite literally CUT her head off too, you can see the plug still in the neck hole :(
 
For one.... i think the jewlery is weird and the stuff, Peace that u saw on ebay is creepy!
 
Just the bodies being sold still isn't as creepy as that "Pony Jewelry!" If I had one of those...I would feel like I was wearing a dead person. o_O

...very scary jewelry...

and the poor ponies!!! *shudder*
 
Well, I would prefer not to wear such a large ring on my finger, but hmmm. . . hmmm, hmmm, hmmm, well, no, I do not believe anyone would be able to pull that off, well, I do have one consideration, but it, uh . . . okay, lets say there is a disabled child who loves MLP, the ring would be on her finger and she would be happy about it! Okay, issue solved!
 
ok thats was strange but the ring really thats huge, i love ponies but i wouldn't wear that, and i even love chunky stuff lmao, who sales a body for that much tho, now its bait and no head it would become a zombie frankie pony right, don't think even tho its hollywood id pay that much to zombie her out.. im just saying crazy pricey :|
 
The ring- too big for me.

Also the obvious ethical stuff- would you cut the head off a little puppy and sell it as a ring?
