One of the features is a movie of the artist handpainting that big pony that was shown at the 'Con, but unfortunately my 'puter doesn't have the right program to view it . . . .

Oh I know, me too! I try and tell him it could be like a second honeymoon! Although at that, he just looks at me like I'm crazy! :p

Pony Project - Who's Up For a Road Trip?

...I'm adding some posts that I made in another thread...
------------
I was just wondering if anyone would like to get together at, or travel to, The Pony Project exhibition.

If I go (which I'm planning to do), I would be going by train from Philadelphia into NYC.

Would anyone be interested? It could be like a small traveling pony meet

edit:
I was playing with the Amtrak site and, if I/we were to go on Saturday, October 22 and stay for one day (i.e. 9am to 5 p.m.) it will cost about $95 for round-trip tickets.
-----------------

Yay!

Oooh, I'm getting excited! I love day trips...and meeting other collectors!

I was also wondering if anyone would like to go see a show...I really would like to see Spamalot and (apparently) the theater is only three blocks away from the milk gallery (forgive me if I'm wrong, but that's how it looks on the map!) There's a 2pm showing on Saturdays...

*hopes*

okay...I am going to feel like a total idiot after this but...what IS the pony project??

Lol, okay now I don't feel so alone!

The artists and Hasbro jointly set up the exhibition. Hasbro provided the blank 18" models for the artists. They might be for sale, but will be helluva expensive, judging from Comic Con (where the one on display was for sale for four thousand dollars.)

I wish I could go over there to see it, but I'm way over here in Washington! ;)
