Tempting! But I'm determined to out-stubborn the pony. No spray acrylic paint available in town here though; I'll have to trek to the city to find some. So she's on hold until I can get something that won't just dissolve the mod podge.

Certainly he's giving me less trouble than the pony! Now I've just gotta figure out how to ship him without breaking his arms...

Yeah, I'll steal some from work. and I've got a 30 gallon bag of the puffed-corn pellets. I may still take his arms back off (they're not glued in), and tell her "some assembly required" when I ship it...

less chance of the arms breaking if you do decide to remove them first. that's a good idea

Kinda what I thought. 'Course, they're just twigs, nothing special. She could replace them easily if they do break... which is good, because eventually they're going to get bumped and break, even if it's not during shipping, i expect.
